The place is very family friendly, entertainment for all ages. Food was okay, lots of variety. The rooms near the pool have a smell to the them, but they were kept clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful and with anything you need. The beach is calm and beautiful. Kids really enjoyed beach and pools. Also the animals in the resort were so nice to look at. Flamingos and peacocks were my favorite!

To sum it up I would never stay here again or recommend to anyone. Being an 8 out of 10 thought it would be decent but sadly it wasn't. We were put into a dirty room where the sheets smelled & had visible stains. We asked for the room to be cleaned, it barely was & the bed still smelled. I had to put a t-shirt over my pillow just to be able to sleep as it smelled so bad! Had to practically beg for water bottles and towels. There were 2 water bottles put in the lukewarm dirty fridge along with a half-drunk Sprite. Having diabetes I try to stay hydrated,had to constantly call the frontdesk for water multiple calls every day to get any water. Dont plan to be able to get reservations at any of the restaurants. Their booking system is slow and they only open the reservations 2 days at a time so had to eat at the buffet way more than we would have liked. It was mediocre. We did get reservations at the Dominican restaurant which had excellent food and nice staff. Some of the bar staff was helpful. Sometimes you felt like you were bothering them to do their job esp.the coffee shop. They were making tiktoks & were visibly annoyed at anyone who asked for a drink. We got scammed by the hotel snorkeling service & were only refunded half of our $.To make this trip even better my bathing suit cover up & sandles were stolen off the beach. This was my 2nd time in Punta cana, while the sand is very soft, water so clear and great weather, I would NEVER go to this resort again. STAY AWAY!

We spent 7 days at caribe deluxe, we upgraded to platinum looking for a better service. Also we picked this resort especially because of the kids activities and pool water slides, when my husband went to play with our daughter the security was very rude and said that he was not allowed to play with her there. Our daughter is 14months old and can’t play alone. We were so frustrated. The room was outdated, baths were leaking. A very strong mold smell in the room. After the first day we changed to a premium suite that was the same with same or worst issues. Staff were always tired with a few exceptions. Dinner was very limited. We invested a high amount into a vacation that was not worth it.

The resort is great! Really family friendly, the rooms are perfect for traveling with kids. The food is ok, not great but average Quality buffet. Drinks are good. Kids club and water park is great. About the service, half of the people were wonderful, the other half terrible. The beach is beautiful, no corals and soft sand.

Primer día se demoraron 4 horas en darme mi habitación, de tanto insistir como si les estuviera pidiendo un favor me dieron otra habitación, creo que desde ahí me agarraron tema, la cama de esta habitación olía a remojado y las almohadas estaban ediondas pedí varias veces de cada día de mi estancia de la manera más amable que me cambien las almohadas y las sábanas y JAMÁS me las cambiaron, el 2do día pedí un taxi a recepción y los tipos de la recepción de una manera burlona me dijeron que allá no habían taxis tuve que solucionar por mi cuenta, 3er día un tour que ya había pagado tenía que recogerme en el hotel y fui a la recepción a consultar si había alguien que haya preguntado por mi y la chica de la recepción me dijo tal cual -quien le manda a no comprar ese tour aqui, no le puedo ayudar. Salga y pregunté a los chicos de afuera...... Jajaja disculpenme pero desde que vas llegando al aeropuerto te tratan de convencer de que el turista es lo más importante y no es así... Es una vergüenza la manera que tratan a sus clientes parece que a nadie le interesa poner a un poco de criaturas a atender a gente adulta en una recepción. Por último pedí de favor hablar con un supervisor y el tipo de nombre Junior se rio y me dijo que ahí no había eso... Ok EN FIN pésimo hotel HASTA HOY CADA VEZ QUE ME PREGUNTAN QUE TAL PTA CANA... RESPONDO: BELLAS PLAYAS PERO DECEPCIONADA DE LA ATENCION DEL HOTEL.... NO VAYAS JAMAS PARA ALLA... Quiero rescatar algo, el buffet me pareció delicioso...

love that it’s right on the beach and there’s pools when you want a break from the sand. plenty of beach chairs, towel clips recommended so you can claim a spot for the day! cute wildlife, but if you want to sleep in, bring some earplugs for the birds they can be loud. quite noisy in the hallway too and could hear it clearly in my room. tv was mostly in spanish (duh) but couldn’t get english subtitles so that was pretty limited. not a big deal though. lotssss of people trying to sell things to you on the beach, but they’d quickly accept a “no thank you” or leave me alone if i was sleeping/reading my book, so i appreciated that. water bottles were provided in the mini fridge and the ice on site seems treated cause i didn’t get any stomach issues. food was pretty bad so be prepared for that, but the employees were all really nice. the app didn’t work for me for some reason, but went to the desk and they helped me make dinner reservations- if this happens to you make sure you tell them right away or you’ll be eating at the 8:30 time slot. lots of families with kids, seems very familiar friendly which is great! i will probably go to an adults only next time lol overall had a really nice and relaxing time here!

I have mixed reviews about this property. It was beautiful no doubt. The walk from the rooms to the restaurants was long, there were shuttles a available & the walk is gorgeous with wildlife around, so that’s not a complaint for me but be aware you’ll either be walking a bit or waiting for trolleys to drive you. Regarding the staff, we dealt with a few unbelievable staff members that went above and beyond, but had a few that really don’t belong working with the public in any capacity. We got the platinum upgrade, the process to upgrade is tedious. Guests should be able to upgrade online at booking or by calling the resort ahead of time. That was not an option. We had to wait to do it in person. Took forever and wasted a lot of our arrival day.That process should be overhauled. Platinum is the only way to go at this resort. Although the platinum restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. We ended up preferring the buffet for lunch rather than the special restaurant & that should never happen. Platinum for dinner was also subpar & the service was so horrible that I filed a complaint with the resort management. The following evening the same servers were at another restaurant we dined at and they were over the top superb but we shouldn’t have had to complain to get good service. The pools were beautiful but the water was very cold. We spent the whole trip at the beach on the reserved platinum section. Ocean was rough but gorgeous. Overall ok for quick trip

It appeared the dining staff in the market dining room were not well trained in customer service. You waited what seemed forever to get coffee at breakfast. Also, clearing the tables was very slow, even though there were not a lot of customers there. Often there were no bowels for breakfast oatmeal, and when you told a staff member, they would bring out just one bowel instead of a dozen so the next customer wasn’t waiting for bowels.

All in all we had a nice family vacation! It was our first time to the Dominican Republic. The weather was amazing - we travelled in April so it was hot but not crazy hot. We travelled with our two boys (ages 4 and 2) and they thought the resort was amazing. The kids waterpark was so fun and great for kids of all ages. They also loved the wade in area of the bigger pool and how close the pools are to the beach! The beach was lovely, the sand is amazingly soft and the water is so warm. We often reserved chairs with towels in the morning but if we didn't get a chance to there were usually chairs available. We stayed in a "family suite" and suited our needs perfectly - but we wish the balcony was off of the main bedroom and not the kids bedroom. We weren't able to go sit out there at night without waking them up. The overall design of the property is beautiful though! The designers did an amazing job, it feels very modern but welcoming. The only true downside to the resort was the food - I would give it a 5 out of 10. The "Food Market" buffet has plenty of options but they leave a lot to be desired, and feel repetitive. The "Beach Club" at lunch has decent options as well but after a couple days they feel pretty old as well. Wish we had known how quickly the restaurants book up because we definitely would've booked them way in advance to give us a few more food options.

Overall I really liked this resort, I went with my husband and two children and the pools were nice, the beach was amazing, staff overall was friendly. Entertainment was fun overall, but definitely felt like they needed more entertainment staff around the resort. Food was pretty good overall, lines for certain foods were a bit frustrating. Juices were absolutely terrible, no natural juices representing the country. The one thing I did not like was that there wasn’t a proper tour or introduction to resort amenities, I was handed a map, but the resort was quiet big and hard to navigate walking with two toddlers.

Overall it was okay. When we got there it was early 12: 30pm we upgraded our stay to platinum package. When we finial got the room nothing was ready no toiletries, no towels, no robes, phone was broken, shower water running all over the room, broken table at 4pm. They put us in the back yard view after we upgraded. They changed our room to better one but of course the phone does not work, the amenities that comes with the upgrade was not in the room still. We then went to the restaurant la lava where I found most disappointing experience we had reservations which again a upgrade amenity. We had wait while they verify our status. I lost interest in the hotel and the vacation. Then of course the phone was never fixed until the next day at almost 2pm. Everyday they only put 2 beers in the refrigerator. The communication was poor the. After all these things i was over it and try to make the best of it for my children. I loved the entertainment team amazing interactive, ( Joel and Diana) the waiters in the buffet dinner area for breakfast and lunch was great people. As for the waiters working in the platinum area, I didn't care for them, they only paid attention to white people that they thought would have money. Funny because I tipped the same as the other customers and better. I love the grounds beautiful gardens, animals, birds, beautiful ecosystem amongst the hotel buildings. I also felt very safe, the beach was amazing. Loved the grounds, beaches, food, entertainment.

Staff is amazing!! From housekeeping to waiters at the buffet, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The check in and check out was very quick, easy and accommodating. Staff at the check in/out desk were really friendly. The resort its self could use some updating. The food at the buffet was meh. Seems the food was the same every day. If you are a beach lover, this beach is for you! It is the most beautiful i have seen. Water was so clear and seaweed was almost non existed at the beach. Waves were a bit rough at times but nature can not be controlled. The beach made up for all the meh food and little things that need upgrades.

The pool seemed very dirty. Our room was in the back with a gate as our view. Also the room smelled of mildew. There was a theater but did not offer much entertainment as the other resorts do. The drinks were also very watered down. The lobby was very nice though and food was average and workers were very nice and kind.

The food is good but they don’t let you take out when going to restaurants like other hotels. There is a kids area that’s good no sitters thought but overall it was a good place and the kids had fun

Giving it 4 stars because: -two days in a row they forgot to give us towels, and we’d realize after we came back from excursions and couldn’t shower but after this they made sure we had them -my main issue was the pillows… they smelled awful. You know when you place clothes in the washing machine and forget them for hours? Then you have to wash them again because of the odor. That’s what it was for the whole stay -other than this: property is gorgeous, great access to the beach and views, food is really good, the rooms are quiet and staff is really good

The beach was nice, but the wind was constant! The room felt very much like a standard hotel and less like a nice resort. Air conditioning was broken, tiles were cracked. You could tell it’s seen better days. There were also a TON of children everywhere so there was a lot more noise than we were expecting. Staff was nice but not overly helpful or accommodating. The food was ok…nothing special, other than really nice fruit at every meal. We stayed for 5 days and could only get dinner reservations for 2 of the days. But it worked out because the two restaurants we did go to just served the same food as the buffet in a different presentation. Went on an excursion booked through the hotel to see a cenote and plantations and the “cenote” was clearly man made lol the plantations was just a store where they tried to get you to buy their products lol DO NOT GO. Also there are tonssss of vendors haggling you on the beach. Like wverh 15min between 8am-5pm you are approached to buy things. Would not go back.

What I like in this hotel thats a green area and beach, thats it. Food- The worst thing is service!! Its so bad! They should change all staff!! They expect from you tips everywhere, even for each cocktail in the bar!
