"Suited me just fine. They provide a coffee machine & some pastries in the room for a quick breakfast, but it’s really good as a self-catering establishment. There’s a fridge in the room (well stocked with bottled water & little juice packs) and a very good kitchen with cooker, microwave and plenty of crockery & utensils. Handy grocery stores nearby for local cheese & meats etc. I like this sort of place. Would happily stay again."

"This is not a hotel, reception is a porta cabin, WiFi does not work on 2nd floor, no breakfast as there is no one around , still had lighter and cigarette butts in ashtray from the last person that stayed there. Builders working on swimming pool. Maybe things are different and better at high season. "

"I visited during the off season, when Hotel Melissa was one of the few places to stay in the area. There is very little to do or see in Torre Melissa, but the weather was lovely and warm, the beach is beautiful and completely empty. I had a lovely conversation with the local fishermen who were emptying their catch while repairing their nets on the beach in front of the hotel. The hotel, which has one of the only "upscale" restaurants in the area was packed on a Friday night. The food was delicious and fresh, while the service was great and the servers friendly. The town is only a few minutes drive to nearby Torre Ciro' and about 25 minutes from its mountain top sister, Ciro', both of which are pretty and worth the effort. "

"Amazing cute boutique Hotel! We got a huge room with a great seating place outside, the stuff was super caring and service was wonderful! The hotel beach was super close and comfortable with beach bar, as well breakfast was very good with great service, highly recommended "

"Found it difficult to find and when we did phone number was unattainable. However the owner had sent us a message on our phone, which we failed to see. We had very small suitcases thank goodness, you would really struggle to get larger suitcases up the tight spiral staircase. "

"wedding visit to italy, hotel tidy clean food a little disappointing, also almost all staff could not speak any english, maybe because they dont seem to get any visitors from the uk, other than that quite friendly so overall nice stay. "
