Ami nem annyira volt jó, hogy az utca szintjátől 70 lépcsőfok volt a szobánk (bár megvan a maga olaszos lépcsős romantikája), lift nincsen, valamint hiányzott a szobából szárításra alkalmas akasztó, vagy szárító, amin a strandról felhozott dolgainkat tudtuk volna szárítani.

Location was central and close to the beach. Property was very clean and traditional in its furnishing. Renato our host was exceptional in looking after us and providing us with assistance whenever we needed it. His manner was very friendly and professional.

I booked based on the fotos on the web , seems that most of the fotos are not from this hotel further more no info or warnings about driving to the hotel direct to bring luggage . It was a nightmare driving and then finding out we are going to get a 100 euro ticket in the mail . Only residents are allowed to drive in this area, local deliveries in addition. we receive a room right by the noisy reception area on the five steps away from the desk. We had everyone that walked by to go to breakfast, plus every time the phone rang at the reception desk. I thought it was the phone in our room. Thank you hotels.com. You should give me back some money to pay for the ticket.

Firstly, the hotel was extremely difficult to find and get to. There were no signs outside the building which was also an apartment building. Even the locals didn't know of it's exsistence. It was on the top floor of a 5 story building with no elevator. The owner wasn't there when we arrived just a friend of the owner who knew very little about our reservation. We called the number we had but there was no answer nor was there voicemail. It was in the old section of Tropea, therefore you couldn't drive your car to the hotel to drop your bags. The closest parking was about half a mile. With no assistance and the owner not available we stayed at another hotel in Tropea that was much nicer and more convient to get to and cost the same. The description and view from the hotel was deceiving. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there unless you enjoyed being abused.

Very difficultvto licate. Reception is on 4th floor of apartment building. Hidden fees of e30 for towels and sheets. Dirty and very hot. Would not stsy there again.

Not all that was expected
Unfortunately there was an electrical storm here last week which the hotel said blew out all the antennas so we've had no tv or wifi for the stay, we stayed in an apartment which is a distance from the main hotel where you need to go for breakfast and use of wifi. Staff are helpful but not willing to do anything extra such as bring extra towels to your room. You must walk to the main hotel and pick up towels, linen and toilet paper. The website says daily room service this is not true.

Difficult access but friendly staff
First, we could not access the hotel by car, but had to walk about 500 metres with our luggage. Then, there was a difficult walk-up to the reception on the 3rd floor, and our room was on a further walk-up to the 4th floor. The two ladies at reception though were very friendly and breakfast on the roof terrace was excellent!

Prime location for Centro Istorico
Fantastic location for the old town - right in the centre. Staff glued to their i-phones, but attentive when distracted. Rooms beautifully decorated, but impractical - ie. brilliant sound system, but nowhere to put your suitcase. Roof terrace has lovely rooftop views where a good quality buffet breakfast is served. Pack light - this hotel occupies the 4th floor of a lovely old building, but has no lift.
