“We were visiting to attend a party and as we had plenty of notice decided to splash out on the best room. It was huge - I could hardly see my wife on the other side! We loved the 4 poster bed (also huge) and the classy period furnture. The bathroom was well apointed and everything worked well. The automatic lightsvareva good idea, and my wife enjoyed the bath. The only minor issue wss with yhe windows which are secondary glazed for the winter, but some of the glazing was broken, which made the...

“L hotel e facile da trovare e a due minuti a piedi da negozi e ristoranti, ottima posizione. Il breakfast ha tutto quello che ci vuole per una ottima prima colazione. A 50 metri chi sono due parcheggi dove si può lasciare la macchina per la notte gratuitamente. Validissimo ci torneremo.”

“Impressive building, super receptionist, who was extremely helpful. Had a super, very clean room overlooking the river and was a glorious Easter weekend. The room was large with a lovely big firm bed and nice pillows. TV, kettle, extra heaters and fan(if you needed them). Double glazed windows and super shower with plenty of lovely hot water. Nice to sit looking at the river in the late afternoon too. On the outskirt of the town so reasonably quiet but easily within walking distance of the town....

“sistemazione carina a pochi passi dal centro del villaggio, si può anche mangiare qualcosa nel pub di sotto e c'è anche una parte fuori nel retro dove si può stare tranquilli anche fino a tarda sera, il parcheggio purtroppo è piccolino e devi mettere l'auto un po più lontano, anche la camera è molto piccola, ma per la spesa fatta va bene!”

“The hotel is located in the village of Blockley, one of our favourite villages in the Cotswolds, as it is completely untouristy and truly charming. It is also very close to other villages, all easily reachable within 10–15 minutes by car. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but the staff were extremely kind and even upgraded our room, giving us a very lovely and comfortable accommodation. Breakfast, ordered from the menu, was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay”
