“Personale carinissimo. Camera strana, era in discesa e disposta in modo molto strano, abbiamo dormito con la testa in discesa e i piedi in salita. Altra cosa da rivedere è il lavandino, troppo troppo piccolo e con la mensola proprio sopra, se ti vuoi avvicinare per lavarti la faccia devi appoggiare la fronte sulla mensola. Comunque la pulizia era buona, personalmente e servizio molto disponibili e cordiali. Ci ritornerei, magari in una stanza diversa. ”

“Poor experience unfortunately. We checked in mid afternoon but, as we were attending an event elsewhere, we didn't get to our room until late evening. Firstly, we struggled to find our room as it was not clearly signed. On going into our room, we had no power at all. We had to prop open our door to let enough light in so that we could call somebody. They eventually resolved the issue and we managed to sleep, despite the very hard bed In the morning, the kettle was not working so we couldn't...

“The hotel was nicely situated on a hillside with wonderful views. The majority of the staff were helpful, only one person at the bar who was a bit sullen. The rooms were a little noisy, I think my room was above a kitchen as I heard banging of pans late into the evening.”

“The Market Tavern is a little gem and a very welcome find! Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff, nice room and bar / restaurant. The star of the show is the food which was superb. A small menu but this means everything is good quality. Prices are reasonable - and worth every penny. With many restaurants now asking £35-45 for a steak, my steak at the Market Tavern was just £24. Ok, it wasn't a fillet or a rib-eye, it was a rump (a so called inferior cut!) But the chef here knows that it's about...
