“We were visiting to attend a party and as we had plenty of notice decided to splash out on the best room. It was huge - I could hardly see my wife on the other side! We loved the 4 poster bed (also huge) and the classy period furnture. The bathroom was well apointed and everything worked well. The automatic lightsvareva good idea, and my wife enjoyed the bath. “Rooms are basic, but very clean. Breackfast was very good as well. They also have a parking area. Overall it is a good hotel for a short biz trip.”

“L hotel e facile da trovare e a due minuti a piedi da negozi e ristoranti, ottima posizione. Il breakfast ha tutto quello che ci vuole per una ottima prima colazione. A 50 metri chi sono due parcheggi dove si può lasciare la macchina per la notte gratuitamente. Validissimo ci torneremo.”

“Fantastic accommodation under all aspects. The room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom, no noise around, lovely staff and great breakfast. There is no restaurant service, but just cross the road and you'll find a big and nice pub. Also to get to Bath there is a wonderful walk along the canal which takes approximately 40 min walking with relax, and is really recommended”

“I've not stayed in a Greene King hotel before (I've plenty of experience of their pubs though!) but it was a nice place to spend a night. The hotel seems fairly newly built and is clean and comfortable. Pros: the bed had plugs and USB sockets right next to it (I hate hotels that make you plug your phone in on the other side of the room). The staff were friendly and welcoming, and gave us extra towels as soon as we asked. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet, which honestly is all you really...

The staff on post in the evening then sorted it for us, however, our room had not been cleaned. It was not very professional "
