“Got a great quick check from friendly staff on reception.Was in a room on 4th floor it was very clean with tea and coffee the bathroom was also very clean.Very comfy bed great shower.Had food in the restaurant food was very good with great service.Had breakfast both days breakfast buffet was great .All in all a great stay will use again.We were visiting the Air Show for weekend.”

“We were on ground floor by courtyard when we got there thought it would be a noise problem as people drinking out there in sunny weather. However on both nights all gone by 10. Staff very helpful, food good, would use again.

Room 290 - bathroom needs a really good clean, limeacale removal and replace very aged beeding around bath edges. Unable to use plug in sink, got stuck. Room itself was excellent, working air-conditioning.
Breakfast - great selection, great layout. The staff were very professional, polite and friendly.

Room 290 - bathroom needs a really good clean, limeacale removal and replace very aged beeding around bath edges. Unable to use plug in sink, got stuck. Room itself was excellent, working air-conditioning.
Breakfast - great selection, great layout. The staff were very professional, polite and friendly.

Under staft at times especial sunday morning everyone leaving to go home one barr staff to deal with reception. Barr. Food peoples wants & needs. Breakfast ect . Needed two or three staff in my opinion. Aside from thay excellent. Thank you. I will be back.”

“The only let down to this location is the issue with parking. The hotel parking was full, the suggested nearby car park was not processing Apple Pay and there were no machines for manual payment. I had to abandon the car on the street (very few spaces as all resident bays until 11pm) and hope for the best so I arrived tired, very hot and bothered and quite grumpy.

Having stayed at a couple others including Lords of the Manor, the positives of this one in comparison are: its easier to get to from London, the grounds are amazing and impeccable, its a truly remote feel among the hills, land and animals of Cotswolds, and the michelin starred Dining Room is probably the best food in the Cotswolds. “A lovely location with wood/lake walks directly adjacent to the hotel. The room was compact, but clean and well equipped with welcome gifts of water and biscuits. Bed good, shower reasonable, but TV a little small for the room size. Food in the evening and at breakfast was very good. All staff were ultra helpful, attentive and polite. Overall recommended.”
