“Arrived late, found room key as promised, courtyard was dimly lit and room numbers either missing or faded and difficult to see But once inside found this rather unappealing exterior I found my small room to be very quiet, immaculately clean, furnished with nice bedding and towels, hot water for coffee or tea, fridge and microwave. “Recently renovated period property with modern annexe. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our Executive Room was contemporary and stylish. It was spotlessly clean and nice and quiet. The hotel serves good pub food. It is located in the centre of a small, rather down-at-heel town near the Bombay Hills, south of Auckland.”
