“L'albergo si trova a ridosso della strada e pertanto è estremamente rumoroso. Durante il nostro soggiorno erano in corso dei lavori di ristrutturazione dell'intero albergo. Pur di non chiudere per un breve periodo hanno raccolto tutti gli ospiti su tre piani mentre nei piani superiori e inferiori c'era un continuo frastuono per il rifacimento delle camere. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo e' insufficiente.”

Yes the room is a bit basic but for central Mumbai you could not get cleaner, quieter or safer.
Short walk to Mumbai central train station and taxis always outside at any time, literally.
Staff were outstanding - always available and more than happy to help. Really friendly people.
There is a seating area out the front which is great to get out of the room for a while - completely safe and nobody approaches you from the street.

The main problem for us was with the frontdesk staff blasting music over their phone speaker until 3:30 AM, we had to politely ask them if they could use their earphones at least 6 times but they did not seem to see the problem....anyhow if you are looking for a hotel to stay in this area the comfort inn is slightly more expensive...

After securing the property, I called the provided number to confirm my reservation, only to be met with confusion from the person on the line, who claimed to have no knowledge of Hotels.com. "Don't stay at this hotel! When we arrived, they told us they hadn't received payment from Expedia and asked us to pay again for the three days. Since it was late and we couldn't find another place to stay, we paid for one night and then left. The room was rather shabby, and you could hear the trains all night. The bathroom had the usual shower over the sink. The breakfast was meager, and the kitchen looked very dirty. I asked for an apple, which was kept in a locked fridge, but they wouldn't give it to me. I wonder how they have some positive reviews on some well-known platforms."
