“Fantastic stay between Bath & Stonehenge. Surrounding towns provide tonnes of history, monuments and pleasant hills. Great carpark and good showers. It was an unusual hot night and the room had a fan!!! Great staff, I recommend.”

“Personale carinissimo. Camera strana, era in discesa e disposta in modo molto strano, abbiamo dormito con la testa in discesa e i piedi in salita. Altra cosa da rivedere è il lavandino, troppo troppo piccolo e con la mensola proprio sopra, se ti vuoi avvicinare per lavarti la faccia devi appoggiare la fronte sulla mensola. Comunque la pulizia era buona, personalmente e servizio molto disponibili e cordiali. Ci ritornerei, magari in una stanza diversa. ”

However, people are still regularly taking food and drinks from the general fridge that do not belong to them. “De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). Things I loved: All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room.
