“Nice villa. Make sure you know how to get there before arriving at SXM. It's on the other side of the island and cell phone signal was spotty... getting there in the dark turned into a real adventure. It is a short drive to Dawn Beach and you can utilize the pool and beach chairs at JW Marriott. “Marie (and Marjorie) have done an excellent job with this unit. They are very responsive and available for any questions you may have before, during, and after your stay. “For us, this property was perfectly located & great for what we needed. Fast walk to a beach & wonderful beach restaurant, easy drives to other beaches & restaurants, beach equip, etc. property manager was so responsive & nice, as was the owner. We would stay there again. ”

“June 14-21, 2025. We visited with our adult children and their significant others and had a blast. The home is beautiful and the views are amazing. Hanging in the tiki hut was everyone’s favorite thing to do out on the patio. The breezes off the water were wonderful and we loved just being by the pool and enjoying our time. “ChouChou was the perfect apartment for our week stay in Orient Bay. We were looking for something cozy with a great ourdoor space and within walking distance of the beach. This had it all. Anne was very nice and communicative. When our engagement photos got postponed on our last day due to rain, Anne was kind enough to arrange the apartment to be available for another night. “The apartment is wonderful. You do need a car. Parking is free, but spots are very tight/narrow, twisty narrow steep driveway. You need to be comfortable driving in tight/blind spots. Communication through the VRBO system is a PIA, not a fault of the owners. The VRBO website and app is not very intuitive, nor renter friendly.”

"Struttura tutto sommato bella, in generale manca di gentilezza da parte del personale addetto, camere non insonorizzate, per il prezzo ci si aspetta un accappatoio e pantofole oltre che amenities. Durante le ultime ore in piscina al mattino, dalle 8 alle 12 circa gli addetti hanno pulito tutta l’area attorno alla piscina con Kaercher generando rumore fastidioso. "

"La posizione sulla spiaggia ( che chiude alle 17!) è ottima, ma il rapporto qualità/prezzo insostenibile . Colazione sempre uguale e poco curata , nessun succo o spremuta di frutta fresca (ai Caraibi!!). Buono il ristorante ( con personale gentile e preparato ) ma aperto solo a pranzo . Per 600 euro al giorno (bed and breakfast) ci aspettavamo almeno gli accappatoi…. La SPA piccolissima , la piscina idem. E per un late check out ( alle 14 anziché alle 11) ci hanno chiesto 200 euro. Peccato."

"Al check-in l’incaricata Sherma mi ha consegnato la chiave di una stanza in cui erano già presenti altri ospiti. Dopo varie scuse e pochissima professionalità ho dovuto aspettare 30 minuti prima che trovassero un’altra sistemazione. La sorpresa però non è finita lì in quanto dopo aver fatto notare che tale accoglienza ha fatto mancare il senso di ospitalità che un hotel dovrebbe offrire e che avrei lasciato una recensione negativa a riguardo sono stato preso in giro dalla stessa receptionist che dopo avermi esplicitamente detto che sarei andato in camera e sarei tornato subito al front desk mi ha consegnato una chiave non funzionante. Mi sono trovato dunque nuovamente a dover tornare alla reception dove Sherma già pronta con la chiave della mia stanza ha approfittato dell’occasione per dirmi che aveva avuto una lunga giornata e per questo ha deciso di prendersi gioco di me"
