“Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.”

“Location was beautiful, Check in was easy, The bar area and restaurant looked lovely as both areas had log fires roaring, and were decorated very tastefully for Christmas, which gave a lovely welcoming vibe, the room was spotless, bedding was of good quality, the room was very peaceful, with no annoying extractor fan from the bathroom, which you get in a lot of hotels, Also the room was nice and dark, which helped with a really good nights sleep. “Best spa we have ever stayed at. The service was absolutely excellent, Fromm all of the staff at the hotel reception, spa and restaurant. Our room was beautiful, very spacious. The only minor comments we have, there was no body wash in our room, and no tap on the bath, had to fill bath with the shower head! Neither detracted from our stay, we can’t wait to visit again. ”
