Hotel a Castlewood

“No body wash in the room. They said there was they could do because they ran out. The deadbolt on the door did not work which was a little disconcerting, especially since the room was near the entrance. You can hear the people enter and exit all night. The Staff was ill-trained and made excuses. Very poor customer service. Otherwise, the room was clean and tidy.”

“After checking in and finding the light was out in the entrance hallway, the staff dealt with it right away. The thing that was disconcerting was, we found a dirty pair of black men’s underwear on the floor near the dresser other than that the room was very clean, the staff very nice and helpful. I realize things can get over looked but underwear on the floor is a bit much. However, to be fair, it took me a while before I saw them.”

“A good deal at just about $100. The beds were comfortable, and bed and bath linens clean. AC worked and it was pretty quiet — though the door between our room and the next could have allowed sound through if either of us would have talked or watched TV. Breakfast also pretty good — waffles!! A few things in the room were not working 100%: the lock on to the bathroom was broken, the bath sink was clogged and drained very slowly, the door to the armoire was hard to close. “Room was advertised as having a microwave, which we depend on when traveling. It did not. I would not have stayed here if I had known. Otherwise, everything else was good”

“The hotel itself was nice and was clean front staff was super friendly but the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!! To me this is the most important part of a hotel. I’m coming there to sleep not spend time hanging out in a room. The bed needs to be comfortable. Our bed was the absolute worst thing I’ve ever slept on. It was so bad I actually contemplated moving to the floor and sleeping on my yoga mat.”

“The staff were very attentive. I was celebrating my birthday while I was there. I ordered room service for breakfast and they even put a rose on my cart. Everyone at the Hard Rock Hotel was very enthusiastic about taking care of the guests.”

“The room was clean, but the moment you walked in the building smelled funny. The shower backed up into the tub/didn’t drain well. The air set to 68 was still at 71 at bedtime and only 70 when we woke up.”
