Hotel a Crisfield

“We just returned form an overnight stay, and we were so impressed! Super clean and spacious room, comfortable bed. We were there for the fireworks and couldn't ask for a better spot to view! The Patel family ( the owners) were so gracious and welcoming! They were hosting a family event and invited us to join. We are planning our trip back for next year! Highly recommend!”

“Hotel was amazing very clean, staff was nice. Only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t working properly. I called down to front desk for someone to come check it out and no one ever came. It was very hot out so coming in from a long day at the beach and being outside to no AC was disappointing. Funny thing is it started working properly an hour before checkout. Overall it was good”

“The hotel is more like a motel. No accommodations for a family with children with regards to activities and there is no pool. This is a quick stay place to sleep only. The benefit is the hotel is near eateries and shopping stores.”

““Queen” beds were more like doubles. Iron was full of rust sludge. Room smelled like a mix of bug spray and mold Staff was friendly and helpful”

“No staff on site to check us in. An envelope with instructions was left for us in the lobby (main door unlocked at ALL times). Found the room unlocked with the key hanging on the wall inside. The whole check in process is a security concern. The web site says free self-parking. There is street parking in front but limited to 3 hours. We called the management number. An operator answering the call tried to connect us to the management but got no answer. We left a message but never got a call or...

“It is like going back in time!! The Hotel is a very interesting Landmark!! It is very peaceful!! The Hotel and landscaping is beautiful!! It is off the beaten path however, it is still a perfect location, especially with the ferry ⛴️ service right there!! Everything thing is wonderful regarding what you would want in your accommodation, especially, the staff and their passion for making your stay at the Whitehaven Hotel a memorable one 🌹🌹”

The first red flag should have been when my friends and I were checking in, an older women was arguing with the front desk people and as she was leaving she warned us that we were not going to enjoy our stay with this hotel and that it was disgusting.
