Hotel vicino a Daufuskie Island Beach -

“This is a cute little motel. I would say that it is fine for an overnight stay but would be difficult for a longer stay. The place is very clean and you can tell that they work very hard to keep it to work nice. The rooms are not large and the bathrooms are ridiculously small. If you've read reviews about the toilet to be extremely close to the shower, that is accurate but I didn't find it that upsetting. Or room looked nothing like the pictures on the website so that was a bit of a surprise....

“The room was very clean except the shower curtain was about a foot too long and that part sat in the shower floor. It was nasty dirty. I spoke with Kensley at the front desk and she made it right. I really appreciated her helping me. ”

“There was no breakfast food or coffee by 9:15am and we never received keys to our room because they weren’t working. An employee had to let us in every time we needed to access our room. ”

“We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott.”

“Room dated. Rust peeling paint in bathroom. Stains on ceiling. No hand soap. Good views of the ocean bed comfortable. Good sleep. Good area for walking. ”

“My only gripe was the laundry. I couldnt get the dryer to work. I called the front desk and they said they would send soneone to help. I waited outside for 15 minutes and no one ever came. So i haf to go to the 2nd floor to dry”
