Room was very comfortable, enjoyed the patio which faced the brook and gazebo. Restaurant was excellent, staff friendly, everything well placed for a quiet weekend getaway.

Amazing
The property is amazing. The bub is a small one to accommodate the guests at dinner times as the property is a little far from Inverness. The stream going through the property and the location is so charming.

Overall wasn't overly impressed. The distillery tour was cancelled due to staff shortages - very disappointing as that was the main reason to book here. Not much to do on the property, location was secluded and not close to town. Restaurant was nice and food was okay. Room was clean but no elevator to second level in the room we stayed in. Would pick somewhere else next time.

The come on is the gorgeous distillery grounds. The chalets--very expensive--are nearly inaccessible, terrible floor plan, numerous maintenance issues including an exploding lightbulb. They did refund our money. Don't stay there--drink the booze.

We are sorry the chalet did not meet your expectations. An exploding lighbulb would be indeed startling and is definitely not a normal occurrence. The chalets, being located on the mountain behind the main buildings, have a one-way country lane road which we realize not everyone will be comfortable with. A Beaitiful Property and Idealic Location
Overall a nice stay. A little disappointed in the servuce. Our tv wouldn't work. Tried to call the front desk at 8am for an extra towel but no answer. Only two towels for three guests. TIP: Ensure you have everything you need before 10pm the night before. The food and music were excellent!

The customer service at the front desk excellent right to an employee taking the time to take us to our logging as we could not find the chalet which is up off an unpaved road. Glendora is first a distillery, and it makes a wonderful location for an inn. Food at dinner was excellent in the pub. Each night there was lively Celtic music offered by talented local musicians. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Give it a try!

This property was not as advertised. The room was mediocre. The so called private patio was not private. Internet and phone service were non-existent. Room phone service was also non/existent. All told too much cost for too little value. This room cost close to $400.

Camping Quality at Luxury Pricing
The property and location is great. We rented the 2br Cabin which is not a 2BR. It's a 1BR & Loft. 3 Window screens were not sealed so leaving those windows open was not an option. The window shade on the door has seen better days. Some of the windows had Cobb Webs and bugs, not the cleanest. Kitchenette cabinetry needs repair and is not looking so good. Noisy old A/C unit in the front window is not so great. If this was priced like a camping cottage I would have nothing to say, but the fact that they charge $300CAD a night, I feel like we got taken a bit.

They changed my expedia reservation and charged me an extra $90/night x 2, because the room I booked online, requesting a cot, which the hotel confirmed on the phone and via the Expedia reservation email, apparently couldn’t fit the mattress. Unfortunately, my family and I had planned on staying two nights and couldn’t find other accommodations at the last minute. Felt like we were taken advantage of, as they didn’t honour the rate and changed our room type to make an extra $200. Very unnecessary, and trying economically as we travel with young children.

Beautiful spot after a long journey in the trail. The grounds are beautiful and the spring water running through the property is both gorgeous and refreshing. The restaurant is delicious and the service was wonderful. The room was average. Clean and comfortable to an average hotel/motel (in the main building). The price was steep for what it was. You're really paying to stay at the distillery vs a luxury hotel (no drinking and driving). For the price a quality sit down breakfast should be included with eggs, bacon etc. We stayed at places that were half the price with equally beautiful views with better rooms and incredible quality breakfasts. The restaurant (dinner) is outstanding and the whisky is great. But the value is the reason behind the 3 star. Even a complimentary taste of whisky would warrant the price.

Nice property and large clean room. We had dinner at the pub and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Fish and chips were the best I’ve had! Breakfast boxes weren’t great, but nice thought. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was excellent. Property is very well maintained. Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Pub was great and excellent dinner. Beds were comfortable continental breakfast was a good start to the day. Oh…and the single malt whiskey is very good. What a great Canadian gem.
