“Clean”

“Clean, comfortable and central motel. We were attending a Wedding close by and needed a place to stay for 1 night. It was clean, the bathroom was spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. A added bonus was it was quiet and close by to the main strip of shops.”

“Due to heavy bookings for UTA event we stayed in a twin room the first night booked direct with motel it was OK for 2 adults 1 teen but we found the second night much better, same sort of facilities but just extra space (this Expedia booking). Rooms were right next to each other but we had to check out 10am check back in at 2pm. “The room and facilities were good though the bathroom has a window grill open to outside so was freezing cold at night, to cold to stay in for a shower etc. We ate at the restaurant, the steak was amazing, perfectly cooked but and they didn't deliver to the table any of the sides we had ordered so we had steaks, no potatos, no veggies, and some how we were charged $29 for what we are pretty sure was a $17 glass of wine. “Property was amazing and the room was great, nice change from the city and a really relaxing stay. Only minor downside was how hard the mattress was in the bedroom. Aside from that would definitely come back again hopefully for a bit longer.”

“Historic hotel is well located between Katoomba and Blackheath so very easy drive to many sites. Due to age of hotel rooms a little small but functional, the decor even older was well maintained and cosy. Only cons room had to be cleaned again before we accepted it, however the management reacted well and solved the problem. Staff friendly however suggest a bit of training in customer service will work to help make this hotel even better. Overall would recommend this hotel.”
