“Room and the staff”

“The room reeked of mold/mildew when we walked in. Everything felt damp including the bed sheets. There was a dehumidifier in the hallway, so clearly they know they have a problem. The stairs up to the room were dirty and gross. We had to use the stairs and drag up heavy luggage because there were no elevators. The only reason we stayed was because it was nearly midnight and we were too exhausted to find another room. The only positive was that the staff member who checked us in was very...

“the room was very hot when arrived, the toilet wasn't flushing properly. the toilet kept running and making a whistle sound all night. I will say the coffee was good.”

“I always stay where I visiting family in a neighboring city. It's in downtown Valdosta. Super quaint and convenient. The restoration is really nice. I like the antiquetious feel. You should give it a try. I do warn you that the property sits on a major highway. But it's a highway thru a small-town-downtown square.”

“My overnight stay was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only bug was that I could not get my room key card to unlock the door. My wife's key worked. I have stayed in several hotels in Perry. This hotel was by far the best if you are willing to pay more to get a quality stay.”

“Property was under renovation. Poor sanitation. Rooms and hotel does not reflect what is advertised. Had an awful smell throughout. Had to move rooms. 1st room was unacceptable. Beds, furniture, appliances were outdated. Not worth the price that I was charged for a bad experience”
