“Family of four (with 8yo twins) stayed here in November 2025. It's a beautiful inn, comfortable and clean and quiet, with friendly staff and good food for breakfast and dinner. The bath is lovely -- staff help you book a time in the evening at check in, and it's available on a first come first served basis in the morning. “Absolutely loved this place. Was one of the top places I stayed during my Japan trip. All of the staff were super friendly and the amenities were great. The room was also spotless.”

“Best hotel we stayed at in our whole trip. The room was a much welcomed change to the standard small hotel rooms in Japan that we got for the same cost, breakfast buffet was good though the food was the same on the 2 days we tried it. There are plenty of good restaurants to try within a few minutes walk and the bus stops right in front of the hotel were convenient. I wish we stayed longer but will definitely be back on our next trip. ”

“We loved this place - private onsen, foot bath and sauna; so much space; very modern, clean and comfortable. Location was convenient- only 5 minutes walk from Kowakudani station ( although be aware that the walk is along curvy roads and parts of the walk have no footpath so it can be a bit dangerous at night). The only negative is there is no front desk and therefore no luggage forwarding or storage before checkin or after checkout.”

“I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff spoke excellent English, and breakfast was amazing. But you have to be prepared to Uber everywhere because the roads aren’t exactly walkable. There are some good food options around - especially Box Burger.”

“The entire staff is amazing and so accommodating, the food was exceptional and we also had a wonderful massage. The rooms are all unique, clean and comfortable. It is a bit off the beaten path and does not have any TVs so you can truly disconnect. Highly recommend!!”
