Hotel a Hamptonville

“We got in very late and we got checked in. The place was very old & dirty. There were dead bugs laying around. The bedspread had cigarette holes in them. We looked for bed bugs but thankfully didn't find any. It smelled like marajuana had been smoked in there or under us and the dead bolt on the door was cut out so it didn't lock. We were desperate so we stayed but if we had of had another place close we would have definitely left. I'm sure it wouldn't meet sanitation codes if checked. We...

“Place is clean and just far enough off the highway to reduce any noise from the highway room was excellant and everything was clean and well pt together the only issue is one of the two elevators is down for repair hopefully will be repaired before we return in a couple of weeks”

“Nicole was great greeting me and providing information. The breakfast was excellent. I rated good on the room due to there being a slight odor. Not sure if from smoking. The beds, however, were as comfortable as a much more expensive hotel. I had a great night sleep and that was most important.”

“For the price I’d say this was an OK stay. It was apparent that cleaning this particular room was not a priority as my cat went in and immediately found old food, and a busted balloon with the string still attached to it that she instantly choked on because she thought it was a toy. I took my flashlight and looked behind the bed and it was filthy, peanuts, old napkins and other food debris were left there. Wish I would have taken a photo.
