“Loved the property and the location was great. Loved that they had van transportation. The only complaints are that I wish the property had more activities planned for guests and the suite we were in, in the double queen room, the room never got below 78 degrees but the rest of the suite was freezing. ”

“We checked in at the Desoto hotel and were escorted to the B & B by hotel staff. The B and B is a beautiful condo that has 3 guest rooms and a full kitchen available to guests along with 2 common balcony areas, one with a dining area and the other for sitting. There is a dining area where you are greeted by the Innkeeper Rick MacDuff who is from Scotland and wears his klan kilt. The breakfast he and his wife have prepared are all natural ingredients and mostly Scottish influence. Gluten free...

“We booked a room here last minute. They were very accomodating of our late arrival. The room was excellent and exactly what we were looking for. I was surprised how easy it was to access the beach. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Good stay for the price you pay. Looks old & run down on the outside but rooms are clean & well-kept. Convenient to River Street, Broughton & Plant Riverside…making everything within walking distance. Staff was very friendly & helpful. As for the negatives… it’s very loud on Bay Street and you can hear everything in your room. Also, because it’s an older hotel, all the doors are outward facing. ”
