The Manor offers fantastic accommodation and a truly wonderful experience with young dear in the garden in the early morning and three peacocks roaming around! We will be back. Thank you.”

“Overall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadn’t met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them.
On the hole, everything else was excellent.
There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above...

“After a seven hour drive from Skye in wet and stormy conditions, it was wonderful to arrive at Lanehead Old School where Lisa had lit the log burner in the large and comfortable hall and made me feel immediately at ease. The sleeping quarters are very cosy, with a separate bathroom and living room containing everything you need for a relaxed stay, best of all a very comfortable bed. A lovely compact room, spotless with lovely little touches such as a great selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, a fresh little bottle of milk, a comfy bed, feather duvet, black out curtains, great shower and toiletries.

"Very basic hotel, requiring refurbishment. The main problem: they offer brekfast using a Gym structure 50-100m away out of the parking. This structure is not suitable for food and the breakfast is very poor and NOT cheap. Apart from this, there is no agreement with the hotel and you have to sign a book each time you enter. Sure I'll NOT came back."
