There was also a misunderstanding with my reservation as I had booked 3 rooms but staff could only find 1. The bedsheets were not clean and when I tried calling the lobby to complain no one was answering. ”

“We chose this hotel because they have a pool. My teen daughter took 1 look at the debris and bugs floating in it and said no way. The pillows are small and lumpy. But this room single handedly made me realize just how done with hotels I am after this trip. The only curtain covering the window is a sheer white curtain. “The hostess laughed when I asked what the breakfast was like. I understood why the next morning. Shower was stained, found trash around the room, and the bed was the creakiest thing I've ever slept on.”

“Our room was "picked up," not "clean." There was long hairs stuck to the bathroom walls and inside the shower from previous guests. Overall, the walls and table surfaces could use a good scrubbing, because there was dirt/food buildup and smudges throughout. In retrospect, I should have just spent the extra $20-$30 to stay at a nearby Super 8, Motel 6 or Best Western.”

“Had real bad weather with tornado warnings, and sirens going off and there was no safety plan from staff. Was told we would go to staff laundry room but they did not unlock it and when asked about it we were told not to worry it only gets windy and there’s never a tornado since she lived there.
