“excellent hotel, old but charming for that reason, super location, in front of the castle and many restaurants, pubs and shops. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable, breakfast is excellent, staff helpful and efficient. We tried dining at their restaurant and everything was amazing ”

“Nice stay, convenient location & pleasant staff. I Can only comment on the particular room we stayed in (305) but more attention required with cleaning. Thick layers of dust on the lights . Inadequate heating for a hotel of this size to be using a small plugged in electric oil filled heater placed in the middle of the room. ”

“Every single thing was wonderful as always during our stay. Unfortunately I have had to phone the hotel after coming home. They have taken £102 too mach for our two night stay. It was lucky that I checked my account. Hopefully I will recieve this money asap. So even though our stay was great I was really disappointed overall. ”
