“Really enjoyed our stay at Sapa Pine Hill Ecolodge. It's located right by the town square but felt as if we were still within the countryside surrounded by the trees and nature which allowed us to enjoy the best of both environments. We stayed in the bungalow suite that was nestled within the woods which had a cabin like feel that was so cozy and relaxing and gave us restful sleep. “Mr. Kim, the owner of the hotel (not a Korean descent) and all the staff members were excellent in providing services and tour information. The breakfast was modest but good enough to start a day. The hotel is located on a bit of up-hill but this is not unusual for the hotels and businesses in Sapa. It was conveniently located in the center of Sapa town and we were able to walk to and from many restaurants and tourist places. It is reasonably priced and very friendly place. Highly recommended.”

“There are many choices in Sapa, better choose others. It located directly on the road, one side with the valley view, other is directly view to other hotel. However noisy both side. It not exactly same like in the pictures, remember, other side is look directly to other hotel's room.”

The host is very sweet and extremely helpful when it comes to booking tours or just looking for recommendations in general. “We booked the design double room with mountain view. Room was spacious and comfortable and we loved the large open windows to be able to look out over the town. Communication for check in was great. This place also went over and above when they found out it was my partners birthday by arranging a birthday surprise for her. “Had a large room at the front of the hotel with views of the Sapa hills. Worth a few extra bucks to wake up to that view each morning! The breakfast buffet was great, well stocked and lots of variety. Used the laundry services a couple of times, visited the rooftop pool. The hotel is on the edge of town, it is a 10 minute uphill walk to the centre of town, but there are plenty of grab cars nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel!”

“Overall a pleasant experience staying here. The rooms were spacious and they cleaned them well daily. The location is excellent, right beside the lake and a few minutes walk into the heart of sapa village. The only downside was the bed which was not comfortable - I could feel the springs - and the pool wasn't clean, although it's not exactly swimming weather atm (mid 20'). Staff were excellent and breakfast was decent with lots of fruit and cooked options”
