Beautiful place
I loved historical places to stay versus a hotel room. This did not disappoint! The VIEW was amazing! I loved to sit on the comfy couch and just look at the mountains and the river outside. The room had everything you would need. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen was small but had what you would need for a shorter trip, the living area was cozy too. I have been to Missoula many times since I have multiple family member there. I wanted to try something new so my niece suggested The Wilma. Beautiful, cool place. So nice to walk to all the shops and restaurants. The carousel is right there and the park where a bunch of acitivies are centered around. The only drawback was Friday and Saturday night they had a very loud dj who had 2 people there and he blared his music until 1 the first night and after 12 the next. Friday The Wilma had a band that was so loud that all the cabinets were shaking and vibrating. I am very lenient with music but when it went until 1 that was a bit much. The only other downfall was the tall step getting into the bathroom. Not for older people :) Still recommend this place! The host is so sweet and responds to any question very promptly! I would give it a 4.75!!!

Hi Tamara, I saw in your review you said there was no hot water in the bathroom, a slow draining sink and no internet. I know you booked this for your son and his wife for five nights, I sent a message asking if everything was OK after they checked in and I never heard anything throughout the entire stay. It does take a little while for the hot water to heat up in the Wilma because it’s coming from the boiler room in the bottom of the building. As for the internet, this could’ve been easily fixed too with a phone call. I’m really sorry your son had these problems, I wish they would have said something and we could have helped. I do hope they will come again and I’d like to make it up to them.

Missoula Stay!
This studio condo was perfect for our stay in Missoula! We went to a concert at the Wilma, so all we needed to do was walk downstairs! Within walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment. Would highly recommend!

This is a fantastic property in a superb location. The condo is large, nicely furnished and as a corner unit, has amazing views of beautiful Missoula in multiple directions. It is walking distance to everything (downtown, the University of Montana, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, walking trails etc). Communication with the owner was easy with prompt responses. All in all, this is a must-stay.

Wilma was great
Only complaint was the number of steps/codes required to access the place. Lockboxes, keypads, elevator codes, etc all with separate codes. Just one key in a lockbox that is your ONLY way into the building after 7pm. Almost got locked out for the night.

The heart of Missoula
Staying at this condo in the heart of Missoula was perfect for our girls trip and put us right next to the action of the marathon. Watching the surfers from the window is amazing and there are so many amazing restaurants and shops in walking distance. This was my second time staying in the Condo and I will absolutely book it again! Its clean and the bed is so comfortable! This Condo is the perfect retreat in a great city!

Great downtown location
This is a great space, and is truly right in the middle of everything in the downtown. People should know there are concerts in the building, and plenty of events in the park. We enjoyed being in the midst of all the activity, but mighty not be for everyone.

Beautiful view, convenient and responsive owner
We really enjoyed our stay. It was roomy, had a comfortable bed and sofa and a kitchen that met our needs for our short stay. The view of caras park, the river and the mountains was gorgeous. The location is so convenient to walking downtown and to the Washington Grizzly stadium that we parked our car when we got there and didn’t need to drive again until we left to go home.

Great place; great location
This property is in the literal heart of downtown Missoula and is within walking distance of all of downtown and the University of Montana as well. It is a premier location, and the unit itself is equally premier. It is finely furnished - with all the amenities anyone would require and very spacious as well. There is not a better place that you could stay than this in the Missoula area. And the property manager is very communicative and responsive to any questions you may have.

This was just an all-around great experience. The host was easy to communicate with. The condo itself is beautiful and the building was amazing. Such a great location, and tons of places to walk to for just about anything you would want or need. If we make it up that way in the future, we will definitely try to stay here again.

Our stay in the historic Wilma was outstanding! The location was excellent. Walk right out the door onto Higgins Ave and Caras Park where all our events were for the Missoula Marathon. The marble and brick accent was beautiful and you could watch the river surfing on the Clark Firk river from our window. Highly recommend!!

Good place to experience Missoula!
The condo in this lovely older building was perfect for my weekend visit. It is centrally located, easy to walk anywhere within a few minutes. You can walk to the Universtiy in 30 minutes. No need for a car all weekend! The unit was comfortable, well appointed, with a great view of the river. It can be noisy if there is an event in the park, but truly, that is part of the charm. A True downtown experience.

Condo with Ups and Downs
This is a lovely old building that maintains its quaint charm. Be aware the windows are drafty, there in no central air (there is a large freestanding unit however, and the bathroom entrance takes a giant step up to gain entry. The location is marvelous and the best in Missoula! The unit has an amazing bar (which you’ll need after you experience check-in). All this being said, the check-in was an awful experience. The directions to the parking area were completely confusing, and even when the owner texted me a photo of where we were to park, it didn’t match the renovated configuration of the parking area. Several kind neighbors helped us and we left notes in our car window begging not to be towed. But….the coup de gras….was attempting to simply watch cable TV (which was in the unit). We spent a comical hour on the phone with the owner/manager who told us directions like “point the remote at the hall closet not the TV” and “the two TVs have to be on the same channel because they only mirror.” The first night, I tried to lower the volume but couldn’t use the remote?, so had to use the buttons on the side of the TV. We also never changed channels since we did once and it took 30 minutes to get back to anything we wanted to watch. We’re not illiterate and I think we follow directions pretty well. I have a PhD and my husband has a graduate degree. We’ve traveled all over the world and never quite had problems like this. If the TV system can be worked out and the check-in directions made utterly clear to road-fatigued travelers, this will be a 5 star property. The bed is phenomenal. We loved the charm of the building and the condo.

Beautiful views inside and out
This Wilma property is beautifully decorated and well equipped. The layout was much better than other Wilma rentals we have stayed in. All the tiny details and thoughtful essentials were appreciated. We enjoyed the newly budded spring views from all of the windows. It was fun watching events unfold at Caras park. We went to Brew Fest as well as watching the steady stream of surfers taking turns on the river. It was a perfect getaway for us in the best downtown location! We parked all weekend and walked everywhere. Plus the restaurant Scotty's Table in the basement of the Wilma is excellent! Hope to stay here again!

Perfect stay for concert!
Really enjoyed checking in and relaxing (with beautiful views) for a few hours before a concert downstairs. It was so convenient to just head upstairs right after the concert to enjoy a pizza and some t.v. to wind back down. Would definitely do this again!

Firstly, the king bed was SUPER comfortable. The owners seem to love their condo and want you to also. So great to be right downtown in a condo that is head to tow made of stone. The building was very quiet except the low thrum of traffic outside. The bathroom, fridge and frequently used condo binder could have been cleaned a bit more to detail considering the beauty and upscale feel of the place. I would stay again!

Hi John, I am terribly sorry you could not get the AC to cool as you liked, I wish you would have said something to us. It is new and we haven't had any problems to date but we do have the instruction manual in the drawer for such instances. We have also not had any problems with bugs in our 6 years of ownership so I am not sure where they came from but would have liked to have known about this problem as well. We take very seriously our responsibility to our guests and also strive the the 5 star experience always. Communication is the key to this which is why I check in with guest to make sure all is well and if they need anything. I was glad to be able to help you use the remotes and would have been happy to help with any other issues had you just told us. Thankfully you were still able to enjoy your stay in the lovely Wilma.
