“Very quaint and clean with a perfect pub attached. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. A bit out of town but still a great location near a park and the river to walk. Train station in Glen Abbey is walkable. It was a bit chilly when we arrived but the room warmed up nicely”

“Avoid this place! > We had a confirmed reservation, but when we arrived to check in, it turned out our room had been given to someone else. The host was completely unreachable and ignored all our calls and messages. We were left stranded without a place to sleep. Very unprofessional and unreliable.”

No WiFi code despite being the selling point and even requesting it. “The room was spacious and clean although there was a noticeable chip out of the wardrobe beading. The HarBar6th could have been cleaner a lot of crumbs trapped between the tile top and glass. Lunch in the Jetty restaurant was good, but the table was not cleared at the completion of dessert course and no tea or coffee offered. Somewhat disappointing for a 5 star hotel.”

“There is nothing to like about this property. They had no knowledge of my booking through Expedia when I ran to check but then subsequently told me that the room was still available and they booked the room directly for me. I heard nothing from them prior to my arrival regarding key code entry to the property and to the room. Having been informed the day before my arrival that they were open on the Saturday (the day of my arrival), when I phoned I got a message saying the office was...

“The bedsheets were dirty with holes in them from cigarette burns and the smoke alarm was covered by a glove hanging on the ceiling Was told a cleaner would come out, but they never did. We did not stayed the night and had to find somewhere else.”

“Terrible. Not at all as advertised. Front door was unlocked and open on arrival. Room door was open on arrival and unlockable. Room window was damaged and stuck wide-open, completely unclosable. I called the contact number and had no answer and received no call back. I arrived towards midnight at the property and still chose not to stay here.”

“This place was dreadful. The photos do not reflect the room. My husband sat on the bed and it collapsed onto the floor. He weighs 140 pounds so not a big bloke. On top of that there were no towels provided even though they are in the pictures. It was a hot day and we couldn't take a shower before going out. Do not stay here.”
