“This was my first time in Arima and my first time staying at a ryokan. I stayed for one night and immediately wished I had booked an extra night. “This is a very nice Ryokan in Arima. The hotel is located on top of a small hill, making it isolated from the town center. This makes the area surrounding the hotel very quiet, and perfect for relaxing. The ryokan has 2 onsen baths (1 indoor, and 1 outdoor) open all night. It was really amazing bathing in the outdoor onsen at night, where you can gaze the surrounding forest quietly. I definitely recommend this ryokan!”

“Nice and quaint ryokan with free shuttle service. The tourist information centre can help to contact them for you when you arrive. We booked the only room with an outdoor onsen and bathroom as we were travelling with a toddler. All other rooms don’t have any private toilets. Dinner was amazing and served at sister ryokan 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was served downstairs. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. Very friendly and welcoming ambiance. “We loved everything in this hotel. The structure itself, one of the few traditional that are still around in Arima Onsen, the staff that was unbelievably helpful, the dinner that was delicious and well presented, and the two baths, that thanks to the fact that there are just few guests in the hotel we enjoyed whenever we wanted and almost never waited for! ”
