“So glad I came to stay here! Lovely, perfectly clean room -a slightly outdated bathroom but with a great hot shower. The rustic seaside charm made me feel instantly at home. I had a waterside room just metres from picturesque Lake Macquarie. The views from the outdoor area (equipped with bbq) were simply breathtaking and teeming with black swans, ducks and pelicans. “Clean room, staff were wonderful at least 9 out of 10 were. When I arrived and needed a porter to take my bags in I had to search for one. The person who came out clearly did not like his job. The rest of my stay the staff were lovely, super friendly people and I felt welcomed. Room service food was not good at all. I ordered a steak sandwich and the meat was raw. My dessert was a dried out brownie My juice didn’t arrive but the delivery person was nice and friendly. Everything else was...

“Newly renovated with a very comfortable room. The pub was also a very nice venue for a quiet drink and nice meal. I’ll be back with my wife for a few days and explore the Hunter region.”

“This was a great place to stay. Right on Lake Macquarie. Very relaxing. Great cabin, staff and communication. When there was an issue with one of the toilets on site, or when aclean up neededto be done on the jumping pad, a text message was sent out letting us all know. Also liked the fairy lights around the very clean bbq just behind our cabin. And the sound of frogs in the creek behind us was amazing. ”
