“Arrivo alle 16, orario di inizio del check, in ma non trovo nessuno. Porta serrata, si entra solo con il “ palm press” e il relativo codice numerico da digitare sullo schermo elettronico sporgente dal portone metallico. Sia la procedura d’entrata che il codice numerico personale non mi sono stati comunicati prima. Mi guardo intorno lungamente, passa mezz’ora ma non arriva nessuno. Sono costretto a chiedere qualcosa del personale dell’hotel ai negozianti nelle vicinanze. Gentilmente una ragazza...

“I've picked this place just for one night with zero expectations, but it turns out it's actually good. It's an old house, yes, but the room is clean and big, with a decent and ample bathroom (with amenities nonetheless!), free breakfast (a rarity these days), and free wifi (another rarity in the uk, it seems). It beats the more expensive alternatives in the area.”
