“Great English pub just stay there ”

“If you can, avoid room 011 (ground floor), not sure what is above but footsteps came through the ceiling late at night and again early morning which woke me. Told reception on leaving but just got a “sorry about that”. Some staff nice and friendly. Public areas OK but a bit tired in places. Free parking and a service station in walking distance. Overall did the job but not cheap. ”

“Plenty of areas inside and out for our little dog to spend time with us. Location is excellent and only a short drive from the Mynd. We ate in the bar one evening and that was friendly, relaxed and atmospheric.”

“Stayed one night. Food was excellent in the restaurant and a very good breakfast. The staff were lovely. We were up in room 20 which is up two flights of stairs so beware of accessibility. ”

“Hotel molto antico ma ben rimodernato. Ci è capitata una camera piccolissima, praticamente un sottotetto, però grazioso anche se un po' scomodo. Il bagno era funzionale. L'accoglienza un po' sui generis, niente di che (per stampare il boarding pass ci hanno mandato alla biblioteca locale). Posiziona buona per girare i dintorni.”

“Very nice building, in a central position. You can easily walk to all the destinations in Wrexham and/or easily get to the train station and bus station. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked and served. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended if you’re planning to visit Wrexham.”

“Room was a lovely size and well decorated. Room was relatively clean, with the exception of a few dead bugs in the windows. Room service was slightly disappointing with some items not arriving, and no answer on the phone after to sort it. 10 calls and a voicemail. Breakfast was also disappointing, the cost of £18 per person was very steep especially with very little selection on offer. “The room was okay. Though to be fair clean. The beds were a tad uncomfortable. The bed had a ridge at the side so probably needs a new matress. The pillars were cheap. One was too low and two were too high. The breakfast was of a reasonable standard. Though I doubt whether the sausages were Welsh sausages. Probably cheap sausages from wholesale suppliers. “Had a lovely stay and a fantastic meal room was small and didn’t look very inviting for the out side but the bed was very comfortable room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was excellent definitely go back, ”

“Clean, decent shower with high pressure, bed is decent. Minimal rooms with no desks, can be loud but didn’t bother me No parking ”
