“I recently had a wonderful stay at Athol Park Guest House, and I wanted to share my experience:
1. The location is fantastic, situated in a peaceful area just a short walk from the beach.
2. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
3. Breakfast provided a reasonable selection of choices.
4.My single room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities.

“We had an amazing time! Hotel is lovely, clean and well presented; the owners can't do enough for you! We could not fault this hotel, everything was as you would expect from a 4 star property. Our bedroom was spacious, lovely high power shower, ample space for your belongings and a cosy sofa ideal for watching TV. “A very well appointed hotel on the Seafront of Douglas. Staff freindly and restaurant was very good. French style menu. The hotel has kept its early years character whilst implementing modern touches to compliment the decor. Room was spacious and again well appointed with all you need, tea/coffee making, flat screen tv, fridge with water snd plenty sockets/ USB charge points. Highly recommend.”
“The guest house was in a good location just off the promenade. Room was spotless and in very good condition. Bed was very comfortable and made daily. Room was well appointed. Breakfast each morning was high quality and everything was freshly made. Dora the proprietor was very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble if needed some assistance. I would definitely stay there again if in Douglas and would recommend to family and friends. ”
“The host couldn't have done more for us. The Melrose is convenient for the shops although there was a short uphill walk to get back. The room although compact was clean, the bedding was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good, cereal, orange juice, Tea or coffee and a full english and there was also the offer of Manx kippers if you wanted them.. There are a lot of stairs up to the rooms but that is typical of the B&Bs in Douglas. If I have one slight criticism it's that...

“En el mismo Castletown no hay mucho que hacer, pero este apartamento estuvo muy bueno. Llegamos y nos recibió una persona que atentamente nos dio las indicaciones del sitio. El apartamento estaba recién remodelado y con detalles muy modenos.
Fácil acceso y justo frente al castillo. La climatización perfecta. La lavadora ni se escucho y función muy bien. Internet muy rápido.
Está a 8 kilómetros fe Douglas y tienes que tomar el camión para llegar a la ciudad.

“Not only is the hotel in a great location, it is clean and modern but best of all, friendly. Every member of staff we met was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant in the hotel is also excellent, something I've rarely found in hotel restaurants. So good we ate dinner there on two nights.”
