Hotel a Reedsville

“The hotel was reasonably priced and a half hour drive from Penn State, where we had a weekend event. The location felt safe and was conveniently next door to a Rutter's. We appreciated the free hot breakfast in the hotel, which was pretty decent and better than expected. This was the first hotel room that I've stayed in where the mini fridge's small freezer compartment actually kept my ice packs frozen. However, the room felt dark and outdated, and had a perfumy smell. It is pretty bare bones...

“Initial room we checked into wasn’t made up. Staff was very helpful though. Breakfast didn’t have working coffee. Second room was very clean and comfortable though.”

“Hotel was very clean, and staff was right there for check in, even at midnight! Only comment is that the complimentary breakfast was a bit underwhelming. That said it's a really nice hotel, and I'd definitely stay there again.”

“Breakfast bar can use a few more items like pancakes and French toast. Walls are thin so you hear kids running up and down the hallway. Plus the kids upstairs jumping was loud and annoying ”

“This is one of those limited staff hotels. The kind where there is no one at the front desk. You can call or text someone. But the lobby is empty. There is no one to help with luggage. There is no elevator. I walked my own luggage up 3 flights. At checkin there was someone who showed us to the room. I suppose I could have asked her to grab my luggage but at that point it seemed easier to deal with it myself. After that I never saw them again. There is no parking. It's even difficult to stop...

“We had a delightful stay at the Reynolds mansion. It is a gorgeous historic home with beautiful woodwork and elegant touches throughout. We stayed in the colonel's green room, an excellent choice. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and available. The food was delicious, with homemade snacks and happy hour treats as well as a hearty breakfast. It was a reasonable drive to our State College event as well- why stay in a boring expensive hotel?”
