“Had a quick overnight stay while our son and his family camped at the state park nearby. Location and lodge was perfect for our needs. Joy (owner)was welcoming and provided us with a delicious home cooked breakfast. Highly recommend.”

“I would not return to this property. The hallway carpet is very dirty, the lighting is dark and there is a smell. The front desk staff are all kind and helpful. The room was clean however housekeeping never came to clean our room and we stayed for 4 days. The AC in the room did not consistently work. The first day the front desk had to reset it and shortly after it turned off again and we spent an entire night hot and sweaty. The next day maintenance came and adjusted something on the unit, and...

“Location was near to the Millerstown Park for Riverwalk and nearby Duncannon with great ice cream shop. we enjoyed the Millersburg ferry crossing the Susquehanna River near Liverpool. Please visit Little buffalo State Park for nice walking trails and the lake with boating. very small hotel room had wonderful recessed ceiling lights, brilliant light for reading!”

“I was honestly surprised by how clean everything was. The room was well maintained, comfortable, and much better than I expected for the price. They also offered a hot breakfast every morning, which was a wonderful bonus and helped us save both time and money. I’m very grateful for such a great value and would definitely stay here again. “This property needs to be updated badly. The hallway leading to my room stunk, the ac filters were very dirty so we had to clean them and the ac still didn’t work that good. All in all I would not stay there again.”

“Had to spur of the moment find a place to stay that allowed pets since we had no power. Staff was friendly & the room was cheap. Room smelled like smoke & the beds were the most uncomfortable thing ive ever slept on. There was still hairs in the bathroom so the cleanliness wasnt that great either.”

“For the price it met our expectations. Our room was clean although there was a musty smell. I think due to age of a/c or the building in general. The bathroom was clean and seemed updated. Shower was surprisingly good! The staff were nice and friendly. Breakfast was your typical continental with a waffle maker too. Parking was easy. It was super hot during our stay but the a/c worked great!”

“BEWARE: Unfortunately this hotel is not as advertised. The pictures of the rooms are not comparable to what we stayed in. I regret not taking pictures of our room and the surrounding property. First our AC didn’t work during the July 4th heatwave. 85 degrees by the morning. Because of the heat our toilet was sweating which caused our bathroom floor to be a hazard. There were bugs on the floor and in the garbage can. We did not partake in the breakfast options because we were bothered by...

“not that this was the hotel's fault, but a storm came through and there was no power until 2:30am. that was bad since we were in rooms at 7:30. but the next day they did do a nice breaksfast, but no ice from machines.”
