Just cross the road and there is a beach, the main attraction of Ostia. Hotel is nice and clean, nicely located only short walk from the station and shops, restaurants just around the corner, I recommend it.

Everything was good, very good located and comfortable to stay one night. Unfortunately I had to hurry with my breakfast as it is only available from 7am on and I needed to catch a fight.

This a is a nice little place. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the transportation system. If you have been on a subway anywhere in the world the tricks you have already will help to navigate the Rome subway. Staff was nice and the room was neat and comfortable.

Beachfront location is central to shopping etc.. We had a sea view room with balcony (pictured) so can't comment on other rooms. Smallest shower ever. Front desk was good until check out. A decent breakfast is included opening at 7. Our 7 pickup (a hotel employee) was there at 6:55. Though the food was out the front desk wouldn't let us grab a 'to go' bag because it was too early. Guess we should have waited the 5 minutes.

Located close to the Fiumicino Airport we booked it coz we had to catch a flight the next day. This was the only hotel in our entire stay in Italy which doesn’t charge for children below 10 yrs. the shuttle service which they offer to the airport is cheap and prompt. A metro station is close by. There are plenty of places in the neighbourhood to dine. We figured out that this would also have been an ideal place to stay if one wanted to explore the city as a close metro station makes the travel easy even though it would take about an hour to reach the city centre.

Check in to check out all good. Room with sea very good and all mod cons in bathroom. Breakfast girl offered us extra coffees and biscuits without asking nice touch.

Great Ostia hotel
Frequently travel to Ostia to visit friends in the area. This hotel was perfectly situated--close to the Pontile and the wonderful restaurants and shops, but far enough away not to be distracted by the noise and busyness of the area. The train station was also just a short walk away giving access to the wonders of Rome.

Extremely well managed! This hotel is near the Rome Airport and receives high volume of short term guests. With a large crowd of guests arriving at the same time, there is not much time for friendly "chat" from the front desk. Although some people may want to have a casual friendly chat, I can assure them that the people in line behind them will appreciate a very professional and highly efficient desk manager who is able to place everyone into their rooms quickly after a long trip. The Hotel Ping Pong is not new , but is kept in spotless condition by the housekeeping staff. Your day will begin with a pastry and a coffee or juice, offered to you along with a Sincere Buongiorno! And a smile that will warm your heart!❤️

Stayed here because of proximity to airport (had late arrival so didn't want to travel to Rome so late). Much rather would've gone straight to Rome. Nice residential area, cute shops nearby but hotel itself very bland, simple and hotel staff not very helpful or pleasant at all.

noisy heating
my only compliant was the noisy heating system it did keep me awake on first night but got use to it by the 3rd night and i would stay there again but i cant understand why they need door vents in every door especially the main room door ?

Tiny room, great location
The room was very tiny you hardly had space to move around in it. And it's a very old fashioned hotel. The room had a door that faced the seashore. Being a beautiful day, we tried to open it, but a sliding panel that lifts up to reveal the outside seemed rusted and wiouldn't budge, so we had no natural light and had to keep the lights on to see.

Es hat alles super gepasst. Ausser dem Frühstück! Es ist eine Frechheit, zum Frühstück Plastikgeschirr und einzeln verpackten Zwieback anzubieten. Am 2. Weihnachtstag gab es nicht einmal die sonst angebotenen Croissants. Der Obstsalat war sehr lecker aber nicht ausreichend für späte Frühstücker.

Все понравилось. У меня был ранний выезд. Пошли навстречу свежее кофе и круасан предложили на завтрак. Удачное расположение отеля. Идеальная чистота. Вежливый, услужливый персонал.

Очень хороший отель
Отдыхали в Hotel Ping Pong с 29.09-05.10.2019. Отель расположен в прекрасном месте на первой линии у моря, в 20 минутах езды на поезде от центра Рима. Номера очень чистые (от полотенец до постельного белья),ежедневная уборка (полная смена белья и полотенец), неплохие завтраки(фруктовый салат, круасаны, кофе, соки, пироги, пицца). Номер с видом на море просто бомбический. Единственный минус для меня - крохотная душевач кабина, мыться в которой крайне сложно!!! Рекомендую отель как для полноценного отдыха на море, так и для путешествия в Рим.

Die Unterkunft hat eine prima Lage. Direkt am Strand und 12 Minuten zum Bahnhof.Viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Frühstück mit Toast, Crossiont, Cappucino Espresso, Säfte, Obstsalat für italien schon recht gut. Perfekt für eine City tour nach Rom. Tagsüber in die Stadt und abends zur Abkühlung an den Strand. Man benötigt mit der Bahn ca 45 minuten zum Koloseum. Einfache Ausstattung aber sauber, keine deutsches Fernsehen, aber Wlan.

Geweldig hotel met heel goede service! Prijs kwaliteit is echt bijzonder goed. Mooie nette kamer, goed bed, alles schoon en ontbijt is voor Italiaanse begrippen fantastisch!!! Wij gaan hier zeker weer naar toe! Locatie aan het strand, op steenworp afstand van alle denkbare winkels en restaurants, kan niet beter. Verbinding vliegveld-Ostia en Ostia-Rome zijn met het openbaar vervoer zeer goed (ca. € 1,50 pp). Veel reacties op internet gelezen van domme mensen die geen idee hebben hoe Italië is en dat ook niet willen ervaren. Als je Duitse service zoekt ga dan naar Duitsland...!!! Misschien een tip voor het hotel om de naam te veranderen in; Hotel Ostia Mare (Ping Pong wekt wat argwaan).

second time in the same place, even the same room :-) very nice place all around, fantastic promenade, beaches, sea, swimming, having fun in the sea ... by metro just about 40 min to ROMA center, just fantastic ... next year again :-)
