No UV bug zappers, bright white lights that attract them instead of yellow or amber that would still provide plenty of light and draw far fewer bugs - literally had to shake off when going inside. “The room was all old fixtures showing lots of wear and tear and the carpet was very stained, but it was clean and everything worked. The mattress was relatively new and we slept ok on it. No evidence of bed bugs. The room we were in had a slight lake water/wet dog smell, but if you kept the AC running and left the exhaust fan running it was much better. It does offer breakfast, not a big selection or top quality, but it does have a waffle maker, and a McDonalds close by was our choice for the...
