“This is a wonderful property and we enjoyed our stay. The only reason we gave it a 3/5 overall, is because they surge priced or the Duke Reunion window and it was quite expensive for what we received (ie. 2 nights for a double occupancy was $500/night and this is not a $500/night style hotel).”

“Not have French fries for oiur fish and chip dinner—waitress knew this as we ordered and came back to table what else are willing to have with this—over priced and waitress stated “ they always run out of food”

“Overall the hotel was nice, good location and friendly staff. We had three rooms and two of the three had issues with the AC not working. The staff eventually moved us to new rooms that were better. ”

“Gorgeous property, friendly staff, and the most important to me, It was exceptionally quiet. Often we travel and have a hard time sleeping due to noise. It was a perfect day and we will return when in town.”

“I had to contact the front desk twice for the heat not working. They had to send a maintenance person to the room twice. It still continued to not work through the night, the room was very cold. I woke up with a runny nose and coughing.”

“Carpets throughout were stained, sheers in room were torn and room very tired. Clean but in need up updating. Disappointing overall for the price of the room. Hotel is close to Duke and we did find a great place to eat. Try Local 22 Kitchen & Bar. Very good restaurant, reasonably priced nice atmosphere. Would have chosen a different hotel if condition was known ahead of time. ”
