“Excellent stay, reviewed before we landed and they were not good. We thought they were rubbish as we found nothing wrong with the place. Lovely pub, room and very friendly staff & customers in the pub. We heard no noise at all even though it was a busy Saturday night with music going on. Would definitely recommend 💯 ”

“Started with a warm and friendly welcome from the staff who showed me the room.
Room is fine for short stays, it's a little rough around the edges but clean and tidy and certainly good value. Note there is no tea or coffee provided but there is a kettle and shop next door so not a problem.
Would recommend it for it's excellent value! ”

“There’s not a lot that can be said about Tumbleweed Cottage that hasn’t been said before - really is a rarity to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes from quality of bed and bedding to fabulously prepared fresh breakfast- not my first stay and certainly won’t be my last !!

Arredamento semplice ma efficace, locale colazione adatto e con buona scelta, anche continentale. Cena e pranzo, sono decisamente anonimi, fuori dall’albergo c’è un altro locale decisamente più interessante. ”

“Beautiful historic house set in peaceful countryside. The owners and staff were very friendly and attentive. We also booked the Sunday lunch which was delicious and spent the evening sitting by a log fire in a snug room with a cheeseboard and bottle of wine. Our bedroom was stunning.

“We stayed over as we were attending a wedding in the local area. This property is amazing in every way I would love to go back near Christmas time as I can image it would be wonderful. The staff are very friendly the food was the best and our room was the best with a really lovely bathroom too. ”

“The restaurant was lovely and the staff very friendly. The food was good value for money. We went to Wentworth Woodhouse Flower Show and it is a very easy walk. There is also a large garden centre very near. There was plently of parking at the property and the bedroom was huge. Very good place to stay.”
