“The Oakhurst in was definitely not up to my standards BUT the staff tried everything to make things more comfortable. Unfortunately the Inn was working off of a generator and couldn’t keep up with the heat outside. My biggest issue however was the fruit flies. They were everywhere and it really bothered me. Jake - night person in the lobby was my hero after AC shut down for the 3rd time and I decided to leave in the middle of the night.”

“It’s a no frills hotel. Great value for the price. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. It’s very clean and the included breakfast was delicious! We did encounter some issues and the staff tried their very best to resolve.”

“Everything was wonderful from the first time we walked in to the hotel till we checked out. Very friendly and professional. The rooms were the perfect size, bed was very comfortable, couldn’t have asked for anything more. We booked our next stay before we left the parking lot!”

“There was plenty of available parking in the garage. The Bistro food was great. My only negative is the Bistro closed early. Staff was nice.”

“I had no idea that this hotel had almost no staff onsite. The check in/out is virtual and doesn’t even work correctly. If a really helpful maid hadn’t been there I don’t know how I would have gotten into my room. The place is very clean but totally rundown. The door to the patio off of my room didn’t even have a working lock. Someone could have easily climbed a wall and walked right into my room. I would not stay here agin.”

“Plusses: restaurant and bar, close to everything in CVille, Uber is cheap and accessible Minuses: pool was dirty, one elevator was out of order, breakfast was luke warm at best, road noise as hotel is close to I64”

“We were welcomed by friendly staff and our room was very clean, quiet and beds were so comfortable. The location was convenient to everything we did. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I hope to stay again when I go back to Virginia. The 24 hour coffee and tea availability was a hit for us and the breakfast was excellent, more to choose from than most . Thanks for a wonderful stay !”
