I found most of the reception staff to be helpful; however, my overall experience was disappointing.
The check-in process was significantly delayed. I arrived around 1:30am after traveling, and unfortunately, the room keys did not work. Being unable to access my room for nearly an hour after a long journey was quite frustrating.
I was also dissatisfied with the housekeeping. The service felt minimal—beds were made with what seemed like the same sheets, and surfaces were not wiped down. I understand there may have been a language barrier, as the housekeeper mentioned she did not speak English. I attempted to use a translator app, and the manager also spoke with her, but the issue did not improve. Eventually, I chose to decline housekeeping for my last two days. In situations like this, I believe management should follow up to ensure cleaning standards are met, especially when there may be communication challenges or new staff involved.
Overall, I do not feel the stay was worth the cost of over a thousand dollars for six nights. I also left early and was unable to speak with anyone at reception, as no one was available at checkout.
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was very disappointing.
