Lovely home
The home was walking distance to a couple parks and to a lakeside overview. Close to the main downtown business street. Quiet neighborhood, host thought of everything you might need.

Great for kids
This stay was wonderful for a family with kids. Several strollers, toys for indoor and outdoor, etc made it feel like home. We had an issue with the A/C, and Elizabeth responded immediately to take care of it.

Great, Quaint, Comfortable House
Great little home for a family. Had all of the amenities you could need, including beach wagon, beach chairs, games, towels, etc. The location was great and a very walkable distance, maybe 10 minutes from downtown and the beach. Really enjoyed our stay and owner was very responsive!

Great rental and amenities
We have been using this rental for the last several summers. It has everything you need and is close to Kids Corner park and downtown. Elizabeth does a wonderful job making you feel welcome and right at home. We'll continue to make this rental our choice for future visits!

Our little stay in paradise

Cozy home in quiet neighborhood
We fully enjoyed our time in South Haven. This house was just right for our family and close to everything we wanted to see. Very clean, easy check in and fully equipped for our needs. The snacks and water were so thoughtful.

The location is convenient for all activities in the South Haven area. The kids were so excited to find the toys and games for both indoor and outdoor activities. The host thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay.

Girls weekend
Elizabeth is a fantastic host and has gone out of her way to make her guests feel comfortable! If you are at all concerned about not having central air, no need to be worried. We were here in 100 degree heat and the house was more than cool. We were very pleased with how clean all the linens and sheets/comforters were - they seemed brand new! It was a great place for my friend and I and my dog!

Cute home near the high school
Elizabeth has a well-maintained home in a quiet neighborhood not far from the high school. It's perfect for a couple or family of 4. This dog friendly property is a 15-minute walk or so to the beach or downtown. There are games for kids and treats/bowls/toys for four-legged friends. It is a great value for visiting South Haven. Great Place for Family Getaway
Great home for a family vacation. It is close to hiking, wine tasting, candy shops, stores, beach, and fruit/pumpkin picking, depending on the time of year. Great Italian restaurant in town - Maria's. Toys in the home and garage for kids, games, plus a grill. Affordable. We have stayed in homes in many different states, but this one is now on our favorites list.

House was in a quiet neighborhood, easy drive downtown or to any of the beaches. The house did have window a/c units, but worked well even in hot weather. Was well equipped for families with a toy closet and beach toys to use, loved not having to pack towels etc.

Great vacation
This property was very clean and well stocked with all we needed. Elizabeth was very pleasant and responded to all emails in a very timely manner. The only downside was the window air conditioners. There was one in the living room and in one bedroom. They ran constantly and did not cool the main bedroom very well.

I'm so glad you had a nice time at the house. In the note you left us at the property, you mentioned that the a/c had a hard time keeping up because you liked to keep the windows open. Even though we had cooler temps during your stay, it's really important to keep the windows closed so the a/c can function properly. We'll look forward to hosting you again next summer!

Great place!
We definitely enjoyed our stay, and had everything we needed. We appreciated the use of the extras for our daughter, like the toys, movies and strollers. It helps when we're traveling and aren't able to pack those things with us. The house was very cozy, clean and close to everything we needed. We would definitely return for another stay.

This was a nice place to stay. It was very close to downtown South Haven. It was clean and cozy. The owners were very responsive. It is an older house so some aspects could possibly be updated (doors and tub handles). However, it was nothing too bad.

Walk to the beach
This house was much more then we expected! So close to everything. We took several walks to the beach and nearby playground with the provided wagon. I was so impressed by all the extras in the house. The owners have thought of everything. They even had books to read at the beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back next year!!

Great affordable option
The place was very clean and cozy. The master bed was very comfortable. The owner is very responsive and nice. She brought us a new coffee maker when the one at the place failed. She also brought us some firewood which we used to roast s’mores. The house is walking distance to the beach and downtown. Very close to the kids corner which our son loved. The bike trail to van buren dune park is very close too. The only slight con which really isn’t a big deal at all is that there are some houses on the street that are a bit of an eyesore. We met the people On the street and they were really nice. Great place for great fun. We will be back for any trip to south haven!

Loved our Visit!
Our family loved our visit to South Haven. We found the property well-maintained and stocked with so many little extra things. The games and toys were a hit with our 2 young kiddos and we all enjoyed setting up at the beach with the sand toys, chairs, and umbrella found in the garage. We thought the property was in a good location with just a short drive to the beach/downtown. If we had brought our bikes we would have rode to the beach...maybe next time!

Five Nights of Lake Michigan Fun
The house met our needs for the price we wanted to find, and it was a nice surprise to discover amenities and useful extras for the beach and walking around town. The owners understand their guests may bring young kids. The house was a good spot for a vacation adventure home base.
