“St aff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were very clean! The grounds are well-maintained and the cabin was clean and easy to locate. We only stayed for one night and left early in the morning, but would stay here again!”

“View was amazing. It's difficult to summarize everything as they are a work in progress. The food , dinner and breakfast was absolutely incredible and worth buying in advance. The road to the tents is a bit steep but ok. Beds super comfortable and just a bit of TLC needed to make the tent really special. Worth the visit and owners are very receptive to comments. We will definitely return for a visit.”

“We never saw or talked to anyone at the property from the time we checked-in until we checked out. They leave a sign with your name on it and instructions on what to do. A lot of stairs and hallways made hauling large luggage awkward. They ask you to take your shoes off on entry. Carrying shoes and hauling luggage was even more awkward. It is easy to slip on the stairs in stocking feet. If you don’t give 48 hours notice you cannot have breakfast. For a boutique hotel they could over some sort...

“This is a wonderful little hotel. The staff were nice and super helpful, including giving sightseeing recommendations. The breakfast was delicious. And the room was clean and neat. A plus was that the shower head was able to adjust the flow of water depending on your preference.”

“Do not recommend. Upon arrival we were checked into room 103. We opened the door And all of a sudden we were overwhelmed with a strong cat urine smell. We went to the front desk to ask to be moved, but unfortunately, they could not accommodate us. We ended up leaving. The area was unsafe for our liking. Unfortunately, we were not refunded for the booking.”

“The staff was great and they were very friendly. The breakfast needs some work; it was a very basic continental breakfast and could use some more choices.”

“The property looked like it needs an update. The room itself presented clean but we heard every noise the entire floor of kids running and screaming all night.”

“The bathroom had damages. The walls were scratched and had holes in the paint. The shower floor was very slippery and I was afraid I was going to fall. The bathroom floor was also slippery when wet. The step into the room from the outside was too high and I actually fell, which required the fire service to come and help me get up.”

“Cleaning needs improvement; the carpet and bathroom were very dirty. The staff need to do better, as they didn't care about helping; our room had no hot water, and they weren't willing to switch our room or fix the problem. 😞”

“The rooms are updated, cute and very comfortable. I loved the soft linens and bedding! If you like to walk, this location is great for a beautiful stroll to town for meals and shopping. (I recommend that you take E Front Ave. behind the property, to stay off of the busy road.) Speaking of busy roads, the motel is a bit on the noisy side because of being on a heavily traveled road to town. If you are not sensitive to noise, you'll be fine, if you are—bring earplugs. “So this property said access to lake but access was nine blocks. The carpet in our room was very stained very gross. Old building not what we were expecting.”

“The motel is older, but it has been updated and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable. Right from the moment we arrived the front desk person was exceptional and made sure throughout our stay that we had everything we needed. The motel was easy walking distance to the restaurants, the shopping district, parks, and the boardwalk. We had an exceptional stay at the Flamingo.”
