“This place is awesome! We had a great experience from the moment we checked in. We loved the vibe of the retro rooms, and the staff was so friendly. When we checked in, we got a free S'mores kit for the fire pit. They had yard games, hammocks, and outdoor seating. We were able to meet many people and enjoy the outdoors. It was close to everything, too, so we could walk to coffee, breakfast, dinner, etc.”

“We loved the old historic building! The bedding and pillows were super comfy. It was super convenient that the onsite restaurant opened at 6am so we could get a delicious breakfast before having to get back on the road. Would definitely recommend!”

“This suite was fantastic. The beds were the most comfortable we've ever stayed in away from home. It was very quiet. Location was great. Lots of trees and in the woods feeling. “When we got to the property the room we were given was not cleaned so we went back to the manager and he did give us a different room. The manager spends more time away from the desk than at the desk there is usually a sign that says back in a few mins. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat. The breakfast was not very good however the make your own waffles were good but there was very limit variation of foods. We stayed for 4 days and were told that they do not come...

“Terrible customer service.”

“We stayed here with the intent to ride the Hiawatha trail. It was a rainy day when we went on the ride so we got extra muddy. When we got back to the hotel we were able to rinse the bikes and were provided towels to wipe them down. We were able to take our bikes to our room as well which was a bonus since we didn't want to leave them on the back of the car.”

“This is a wonderful little hotel. The staff were nice and super helpful, including giving sightseeing recommendations. The breakfast was delicious. And the room was clean and neat. A plus was that the shower head was able to adjust the flow of water depending on your preference.”

“The property was clean and the staff were so nice and accommodating. I LOVE that the 24hr pool/hot tub. The breakfast buffet was good, had the staples and was quick and easy-coffee was good. The overall price is wildly high for a La Quinta-quality/location/amenities do not meet price but I am assuming it is due to the touristy town, which is beautiful. “My husband and I try to stay at smaller local hotels/motels when we can to add to the fun of the city we are visiting. This place was so convenient! We were able to walk to the park, coffee, dinner, etc. Great location and very easy to get to.”
