This property at Little Harbor is right by the water where you may see dolphins and manatees! It’s a cute little beachy condo and it was super clean.

Everything was great except the shower. It only had half a door therefore the floor flooded no matter what. Also only 1 coffee pod for 2 people for 2 mornings. Not a problem to bring some it just should be in listings

Perfect Getaway`
If you're seeking a low-maintenance escape, this is your spot. We loved both pools. The larger pool was heated, and the smaller pool was more secluded. We spotted dolphins multiple times in the nearby waterway. The private beach was awesome, and both restaurants were conveniently within walking distance. Although we didn't dine there, the prices seemed reasonable. The weekend nightlife at Sunset Grill and Beach Bar was lively! The only issue we encountered was a faulty outlet for the Keurig, easily resolved by relocating it. The fitness facility exceeded expectations, surpassing typical hotel gyms. The room was very clean, and we felt very safe as we frequently saw security. Definitely would go back.

Not The Most Convenient
The overall property was nice and our unit had nice waterfront with views of dolphins, pelicans and boats. The unit itself could’ve used a dresser or cabinet or even under bed drawers for clothes. Ironing board but no iron, had to push up the shower by putting finger inside faucet and pushing it up as shower knob was stripped. Only 1/2 shower panel so water leaked out on to floor and toilet paper holder always got wet so we ended up moving toilet paper. Bed was comfortable. Lots of time spent driving to beaches, restaurants and shopping. I couldn’t load vrbo app on my phone as it required iOS 16.0 or higher so I had no communication other than when we arrived we got a welcome email. I kept trying to communicate but I needed the app which I couldn’t download. There was no information binder in the room regarding what do we do upon checkout? Do we pull linens, empty trash, set the thermostat at a certain level etc etc.

We had a really good time at our Ruskin property. Nice pool great restaurants and easy beautiful scenery! We could walk to any of our destinations at Little Harbor. The only negative is the condo is very small and we did get tired of being in such a small space. Otherwise, great time!

WEEKEND GETAWAY
Needed a break from reality and stumbled upon Little Harbor in Ruskin FL. The apartment was perfect for two and we were able to walk to two pools, a hot tub, two bar/restaurant choices, a private beach and beautiful sunsets. Food and drinks cost more than expected, but it was only for the weekend so we managed.

Great Stay
First, all the good -- this property was SPOTLESS. Good location, great communication, and WELL worth the price. We would definately stay again if we are in the Tampa/Ruskin area. We enjoyed the Sunset Bar and Grill every night we were there and Hooks for the occasional lunch. The workout facility is fantastic and the deeper pool was wonderful. The jacuzzi is not heated and we heard that has been an ongoing issue -- but didn't really effect us. The shampoo dispenser did not work and the hair dryer really needs to be replaced. It is cracked and a fire hazard. Our only complaint: Please get blackout curtains. That light outside is as bright as day and your curtains are not sufficient to block it out. We duct taped a towel to the light to keep it from keeping us awake. Other than that, your place is great -- and you describe it well on the site -- it is NOT a traditional VRBO place -- it is a hotel room with some cooking options -- but we didn't go there to cook. Anyone who says it is not clean is nuts. Thank you!

Owner did not respond when asking which unit, took several calls texting and leaving voicemails before getting a response. Then the power went out early our first morning with no answer or call back to check the status, we were not sure if we needed to wait on someone to enter our room to fix which delayed our day. We ended up just leaving and hoping we had air when we got back.

Exactly as described
A picture is worth a thousand words is the best way to describe this property. The size of the unit is best described as a hotel room but the way the space is utilized makes it seem much larger. It was absolutely perfect for two people. We had everything we needed for a four night stay including coffee and essentials to get us started. The bed was comfortable too. Let’s talk about the view and location. WOW. Walk right out your door for a beautiful sunrise. We also saw dolphins and manatees swimming daily. The location was also quiet and off the beaten path a little. It is just a few steps from the pool, playground and other amenities. It the pool is not your thing just a few more steps to the beach area where you can rent chairs for only 5.00 a day. Both of the restaurants on property where also very nice. There is not much else to do in Ruskin itself but it’s a easy drive to Tampa and we actually enjoyed the area for what it has to offer. Besides you don’t have to leave the resort.

A little slice of paradise!
A lovely condo located in a quiet and serene area! 2 pools, whirlpool, private beach, beach bar and grill and another restaurant on the property! You'll need a car as grocery stores, etc are not within walking but once you get what you need, you won't want to leave the property. Lush plants, trees and flowers abound. My host, Marilin, was super helpful and accommodating. This condo is less than 40 minutes from the Tampa airport.

The BEST place to stay outside of Tampa.
What a crazy weekend was had. From check in to check out the communication was amazing. She even put rose pedals and champagne in the room when we arrived (coordinated). There’s a “beach” very close and a beach bar right there too. It was just a great experience. Will be back!

Perfect getaway from it all
I had a wonderful stay in this VRBO unit, an efficiency apartment in a beautiful bayside resort. I've stayed in other units in the complex, and there's just no comparison. THIS BEAUTIFUL ground-floor unit was airy, very clean, well-lighted, smelled good, and tastefully decorated. It had clean, plentiful linens, a great shower, cooking equipment with pretty dishes and utensils, a Keurig coffee maker, shampoo, etc., a good-size "mini" fridge, and a nice TV. I appreciated the kitchen-size trash can and extra supplies. You park at your door, which makes it easy to unpack the car. Super comfy bed. During the time I was there, the place was quiet - just what I needed. Beautiful, breathtaking sunrises over the water to enjoy with your morning coffee on the porch just outside the door. Gorgeous pool right on the water accessible with key fob. Nice little beach area with equipment rentals. Very good gym/workout area accessible with key fob. Pier for fishing. Fishing charter boats and dolphin tour boats are also on the property. Nice playground for the kids. There's not a store of any type on the property, so be sure to bring everything you need. If not, there are lots of little stores and a regular grocery store just up the road in Ruskin. The restaurant on the property is wonderful, and their prices are very fair. I looked forward to dinner and a glass of wine there every night. You can't beat the live music and sunset view from the restaurant, with St. Petersburg twinkling in the distance as the sun sets over Tampa Bay. It's a rare treat to enjoy the sunrise and sunset right from your "home" every day. I've recommended this unit to several friends. Extremely responsive and thoughtful host. I'm already checking my calendar for a return trip to this specific unit. Thank you for everything.

Our stay at this facility was amazing. Not only was the facility overall as described but it was a beautiful location and the facilities were excellent. I would make one small suggestion that for every room a ride up be left as to like for the laundry room is, where the game room is and how to get into it, location location of stores and restaurants in the area. That would be more than helpful for those not from the Ruskin area. We will definitely use your facility again and have recommended it to many people. Thank you again.

Beds were not comfortable.Room and property was clean. Only had 2 grills outside to use.Outside porch light stays on all night and the curtains are thin and the room stays lit up all night. Was very difficult to sleep in the bright room at night.Views out the room was beautiful. Overall peaceful place to stay. Have to drive off property for miles to find shopping or convenience stores.On-site restaurants are expensive.

Property was very well kept and clean! An air fryer, hot plate and skillet, and misc kitchen items were perfect! The fridge was large enough and dish soap was already there. The extra large trash can was also nice! Dolphins play daily in the harbor/channel right outside the door. What a treat! The beach was within walking distance along with a nice playground and tennis courts. It was a quiet area. The only two negatives were 1. Lack of accessible outlets for charging. (Only two, none near the bed, so bring an extension cord.) and the exterior porch light was quite bright at night. We hung a towel over it and that helped. A clothesline or drying rack would be a great addition. We did not rent a car, and there are NO stores (not even fir a pack of gum) closer than 3 miles. So keep that in mind when you make plans.

Excellent location for families with young kids
This was the perfect location for myself and my young daughter. We wanted to spend lots of time outdoors, rather than visiting attractions. The property has everything you need for a relaxed beach vacation in very close proximity - 2 pools and a hot tub, a private beach, and two restaurants. The property is steps from the water and you wake up with gorgeous views of the sunrise. The unit was comfortable and well appointed, with a nice coffee station. It feels a lot like a hotel room. The host was helpful and responsive, and dropped off a garbage can and bags when I requested them. The beds are definitely full size, not queen. This did not turn out to be an issue for us, but it would have been a problem had we come with 4 people, as originally planned. I also wish there had been more towel-hanging areas (clothesline or drying rack outside) and more accessible electrical outlets (especially near the bed, where they are inaccessible due to a large furniture piece blocking them). The location was quiet and safe, and we did not encounter any rowdy spring-breakers or have any issues with noise. Hot tip - neither of the restaurants have ice cream (which seems like a big missed opportunity!!), but we found that the gift shop sells ice cream bars. ☺️ Thanks so much for the lovely and restful vacation opportunity!!!

The owner called us and said the day before we were suppose to fly out, that the air-conditioning broke. We had no choice, it was a little late to try and find another place, we said we would try the place. The place was very difficult to find. We arrived that night because our plane was delayed. The lighting in the place was horrible. When we woke up the next day, we called the woman and told her we couldn't stay there. It was dirty, cobwebs in the corners of the room by the floor. There was no beach. The pictures on the site were very deceiving. She said she would refund us ecept for the one night. She refunded us $213.00. It was suppose to be $468.00. I called and emailed her about the refund, she quite answering my calls and emails. Horrible place.

Susan, As you admit I called you the night before. I gave you the option of refunding your money 100%, moving the dates or staying without Air conditioning and only a fan which I did not recommend because we are in Florida after all. The week of your stay the weather was in the 50's. I also explained I was giving you the options before check in because once you check in commissions and taxes are earned. The cleaning fee was also earned due to the room being used and needing to be sanitized due to COVID-19. I can assure you our unit has no cobwebs as you say and most certainly has a beach. You know this because you told me you come down with a group of your friends every year to stay at Little Harbor and loved the place. The pictures are not deceiving, they depict our area exactly as it is. You had the opportunity to get 100% refund , there is always a choice. If you had a problem you should have called VRBO to have them settle it rather than writing a horribly malicious review.

Hi Rob, we are working on a solution to the parking problem. Little Harbor has become very popular and people that are not guest’s are visiting and taking up parking spaces. Out HOA will find a solution to keep non guests out.

Beautiful location
My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed the location of this property! You have everything you need for a relaxing vacation - water right outside your door full of dolphins, manatees, and many other wildlife sightings, as well as a beautiful white-sand beach on Tampa Bay, restaurants, and a quiet, peaceful resort area. We did not want to leave to return to Ohio! The room itself is pretty basic, but met our needs - we didn't spend much time inside. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely Quiet Location
If you are looking for a beautiful, safe location so close to a beautiful bay for a getaway with family, this is it. We loved the small private beach, hot tub and pool, “Hooks” pub, all within a stones’ throw of the condo. The property was clean, and the owners attentive. We loved watching dolphins play in the bay right in front of the condo. The pier is great for watching pelicans as well. Very restful and relaxing - exceeded all our expectations.

I wouldn’t stay here again!
There was a smell. There are only 3 lamps- 2of them you could hardly tell they were on. The third is a desk lamp. I needed my cell phone light to read by. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. This was basically a motel room without the maid service.

Hi Randy, I'm so sorry you feel that way. No one has ever mentioned lack of light in the room. When we spoke I did tell you to let me know if you needed anything else. If you would have told me we could have easily brought over more lighting for you. As for the beds, again no one has ever complained. As a matter of fact I have been told it is a very cozy room. As for the smell, it is the smell of the ocean, it permeates every room at any oceanside resort. Some people like it and some people don't. That is why I maintain an air cleaner. I truly wish you would have let me know, I would have had the opportunity to remedy the situation so you could have a better stay.

Loved everything about this property. Just open the drapes to see the sunrise and walk around to the other side of the building and there was the sunset. The property was very clean and neat. The owner was immediately responsive to a couple of questions we had. I would recommend this property.

Beautiful views!
