“Such a beautiful old historic lodge. It was super great for nostalgic purposes. Beautiful view of Penn Cove from our room, superb cocktails and dessert from the bar, roaring fireplace in the lounge, clean and spacious shared bathrooms. Slow bar and dessert service from the lounge but to be fair there were only 3 women serving the entire very busy restaurant. Front desk was very efficient. “Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit.”

“I LOVE the Palace Hotel. It's definitely a place of a lot of history and tales. The last time I stayed at the Palace was in the newer rooms. This time, I made certain to stay in a room with more "character". Miss Alice's room to be precise. The host and staff and are always welcoming. The only downside was I stayed one night. Otherwise, it's the first place I'll check for availability if I'm staying in the area!”
