“A/c fan VERY loud, outdated rooms, bathroom had hair on floor & overall floors had dirt. “Get what you pay for” was pet friendly with grassy area.”

“Parking was lacking, there was no where to really park. Lota of trailers. Had booked a normal room, but was upgraded to a suite due to a mixup with our room, so that seemed nice. Pleasant concierge. The suite was the last suite on the floor. You can tell it doesn't get used much, as there was a thin layer of dust on everything. Only 1 elevator. Room was fairly clean, but the public hallways were very dirty. (Stained and not vaccumed recently) Bed seemed comfortable until you actually tried to...

“The front desk smells like cigarette smoke. The room was basically an efficiency apartment. There was a DirecTV box but no channels. TV is Roku so you need subscriptions.”

“Ac wasn’t working and was not compensated for broken ac unit. And bathroom flooded multiple rooms and owner did want to reimburse.”

“Easy to drive to the lake, adequate breakfast to fuel the day. Our room said it would sleep 6 when I reserved. When we got there it was a king and foldout sofa. We were a party of 5. Requested a rollaway, but it never appeared. We put one of the kids on a pallet on the floor.”

“Nice inexpensive place to stay with an attached bar. In walking distance of a gas station, bakery and a restaurant. Beds are on the small side and rooms are a bit outdated. Overall we had a good experience and was pretty much what we expected for the price.”

“We have stayed at Dunvilla every summer for the past 4-5 years when we visit family with a nearby lake house. The hotel is always clean, the staff incredibly friendly and the overall atmosphere is relaxing and refreshing. It is a rural setting, just a few miles from Pelican Rapids and I look forward to our stay every year. A hot breakfast is included as part of the stay and they have an impressive casual dinner menu as well. I truly look forward to our visit each year. I highly recommend...

“This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. ”
