“Beautiful grounds and gardens. View from restaurant is stunning. Private parking was so helpful and provided peace of mind. Included breakfast is excellent! Rooms are adequate, but small. Beds were ok. Conveniently located to lake side park on one side and shops on the other. Restaurant food and service is very good! One of our favorite places on Lake Atitlan”

“I spent one week at Amankaya and had a great time! Fernando is an amazing host that always goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The location is a bit secluded from everything but theres a boat that can pass by the lakehouse 3x a day which makes accessing all of the other villages very easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to the lake, restaurants, and local attractions. “Sweet people and wonderful views made the stay worth it! Enjoyed the fridge and chilled water. Off the beaten trail (so quiet) but near really good food and pretty much everything within a 10 minute walk. The room we stayed in was a bit strangely laid out but very clean and had a strong fan over the bed - nice detail. Plants are beautiful but a bit on the over grown side. “This hotel is simply beautiful. The staff makes you feel like royalty. The view is beautiful but not accessible or visible from the inside. I wish they build an observation deck in the future. Great conservation of the building. Neat clean all around. Great gourmet food. The best was breakfast. I missed a hair dryer, but a small detail for such a wonderful experience.”

“I had a good stay overall, but there was one serious issue. Around 2 a.m., someone opened my door and tried to enter my room. I reported this to the receptionist, but was told there are no CCTV cameras in the common areas. For the safety of guests, I strongly recommend installing security cameras.”
