“Spa was amazing and so were the gardens. Some of the staff were kind and some others were very unhelpful and acted as though clients were a bother. Very difficult to get a taxi so best to have your own vehicle.”

“The stay at Mulgrave Country Cottage was wonderful. A beautiful house and gardens, peaceful and tranquil. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was fresh, well presented and very tasty. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be returning ”

Breakfast was outstanding! All waitress served off a comprehensive menu in a well laid out dining room with attention to detail. “La Rosa turned out to be the most unusual hotel we've ever stayed in. The location is excellent, the ground floor tea rooms barely used but tables perfect for board games and jigsaw puzzles. Stairs quite a lot so do check if you have mobility issues. Rooms what can I say very atmospheric and quirky so check the photos carefully so you know what you are signing up for. No TV hallelujah. No shower but hey we have one at home whereas we don't have an old fashioned deep bath so what an...
