Cottage a Whitby

“We thought from Expedia's website that we were getting self catering, with living room/kitchen as well as the bedroom and bathroom, but we got bedroom and bathroom only. Not the owner's fault, but Expedia. Accommodation was okay, but we have stayed in better for similar/lower price. General area was nice.”

“Absolutely lovely stay at this property. We were only there for 1 night but can't reccommend enough. Tea, coffee and biscuits were left in the kitchen for us. TV in the living room was smart TV and there was a TV in both bedrooms. Beds were a tiny bit springy but still comfortable. Shower downstairs is a bit dated but still useable. Incredibly clean though absolutely no complaints on that front. Property manager was in touch and easy to contact. Some might be confused by the parking situation...

“A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby.”

“Lovely quaint walk through several levels of walkways and beautuful traditional cottages. Tucked away surrounded by cottage gardens. Like stepping back in time. Beautiful weather surprisingly. Lovely friendly people. Shops and places to eat and drink , within 5 mins through the street's. Very steep hill and steps add to rhe charm of the winding roads down to the bay front. Photographers heaven. 4th time here over the years with small changes to eateries. ”
