Fai un giro nei quartieri di Fener e Balat, molto frequentati dalla gente del posto per fare colazione e bere un caffè. Passa davanti a chiese, sinagoghe, moschee e tanti altri luoghi storici.
    Inizia il tuo giro a piedi nel quartiere di Fener per vedere una chiesa greca e una scuola elementare greca, seguite da tante scale colorate. Poi, dai un’occhiata alla casa del principe rumeno Dimitrie Cantemir, alla Chiesa di Santa Maria dei Mongoli, costruita nel 1266, e al Collegio greco-ortodosso di Fanar.
    Dopodiché, vai alla chiesa di Panagia Paramythia. Prosegui verso il quartiere di Balat, dove potrai vedere la Chiesa bulgara, conosciuta anche come “Chiesa di ferro” per via della ghisa utilizzata nella sua costruzione. Poi, dai un'occhiata alle famose case in legno della zona.
